Greensteel items.

I have in made many crafting mistakes in my days because of excitement and lack of concentration while crafting.
Therefore some of my greensteel items have turned out to be real poo. Yes, this is my own fault, but i have
a suggestion that i personally think is great! I dont know if it has been suggested before or already is part of the game,
but here we go:

To recraft/overwrite greensteel item effects.

Reason:
It could be because of a crafting mistake or maybe the added effect doesn't suit me anymore.

What do i mean?:
Let's say i have wisdom +6 on my GS morningstar. With this idea i can "overwrite" the effect with another effect, that way deleting the +6 wisdom effect and adding for example holy.

Is this understandable?

*Edit:
After discussing this proposal another solution would also be to completely cleanse the greensteel
item, because it might mix up the bonus effects like minII.
