    Exclamation Update 12 Skin Art Pack?

    Can we please get an updated UI Skin Art Pack?

    Need to be able to skin the new bits of the player vitals bar, party bars, etc.

    If you don't have an SSD, you should be using DDOPreload (fixes the slow first login issue)

    And while you're at it, please give us an option to disable the xp bar.
    (It's not important enough to stay on the screen all the time, especially on a capped character.)

    You can use this one until the official one is released.

    I think I have an idea for this, which I'll test when I can: Make the base XP bar clear/invisible, so that all you see is the color bar as you gain ranks and XP. Once you hit cap, no more colored XP bar, so you should only not-see the base XP bar.

    Gonna see what I can get figured out.

    Hope we get an Official UI pack soon.

    EDIT: The files for the XP bar are "xp_bar_e.tga" for the action point gem and "xp_bar_center.tga" for the main bar across the bottom of the screen. Don't have Lammania to test the invis-xp bar idea, but should work once U12 releases.

    Does this mean UI skins are working again, with U12?

    Info Blue already does this. Note that any time you level-up, you need to toggle the UI off and back on to get the bar to be cleared fully (they only paint the background image over the area, since they didn't expect the background image to be transparent, but doesn't work if the image you are filling with it transparent).

    Never noticed. ^^;

    The most attention I pay to other UI Skins is to see if there's something useful that I can add to my own (I've tried editing other skins to my preferences, but they tend bug out.)

    Question: Since it sounds like a problem with transparency, what about low opacity instead? Say 10% or 15% instead of 0% (fully transparent)??

    Nope, tried partial-transparency too. Still doesn't update correctly when you level-up, so you need to alt+z twice.

    I don't release mine publicly, since most of what I've done has been accomplished better by others.

    Sucks about the transparency bit. Was going to try it once we got Skins working again and I do TR.

    Try it out, perhaps they fixed something about it.
