    Default Fighter Past Life

    Hi Folks

Is the active Fighter Past Life feat worth taking on a monk? I am planning to do a H-Elf and invest in Human Versatility for the to-hit bonus. I am not sure if the fighter +4 stacks with that or not. I suspect I am better off taking Improved Sunder or perhaps another toughness feat but I thought I would ask and see what the active Past-life fighter feat would really do for me.

I usually take Fighter PL feat right away for the +4 to-hit and then swap it later for the Monk PL feat when I don't need the extra to-hit. You should be using your HV boosts for Damage, not Attack, but it should stack with Fighter PL for what it's worth.

I never had a problem hitting on my monk in low levels - or even at high levels.

I'd take the monk PL feat for the +die step. That and jidz bracers (ML5) stack for 2d6 unarmed dmg at lvl 5 in earth stance.

If you're having problems hitting, there may be something else involved. I took vers IV for the +25% dmg.
