    Default Build

    After much thought, from deciding to TR my mian to FvS, but then changed my mind to Sorc, but then changed it again to FvS. This will be the build i created, I had it up on the forums a while ago (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=331681). Here is the finalized build, any last adjustments and tips would be most appreciated. He is not melee spec, but will still be able to swing and do damage. He is not heal specd, but can still get it done. He is more Offensive Caster. With the Wiz PL and high wis, he will be able to get stuff done.

    Eat a +2 int tome at level 7 to put skill points into balance and to make sure you max out concentration and UMD (after putting 1 in tumble).

    Mental Toughness is garbage (it'll be like 3% bonus SP later which is useless compared to other options).
    Extend Spell is pretty marginal now with the changes to offensive spells and the display on short term defensive buffs, I wouldn't bother.

    I'd suggest to take at least Spell Penetration (so that you have equivalent SP of a character with both SP feats with your 1 PL:Wizard).

    With your other spare feat I'd go with Spell Focus: Evocation. Getting that Implosion DC up is going to be quite useful.

    Not sure about the starting stats but ... not much better going for a caster FvS anyway.

    Re specd the build, and changed the two feats, and the order of some other ones. Also swaped out electric feat for sonic. Figured i have 30 resists on guild ship, and the spell. No sonic on the ship...so the 10 sonic would almost completely get rid of the orthons sonic damage.

    With a TR build, I assume you have a torc? Just cast resist sonic on yourself and torc back the SP from it. Sonic damage is uber-rare when not fighting Orthons, and it's too easy to become immune to when they -are- around.

    If you want to be able to shrug off piddly amounts of common damage, go Acid. Melf's, Burning Blood, etc, get cast all the time by monsters.
    Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.

    With the changes to lightning bolt I'd even consider taking lightning as the first choice. Fire at 10 and cold at 15.

    Sonic is definitely not needed, all the other ones come in huge massive bursts where the 10 will help (when stacked with resist energy).
