Default Does this sound decent for a low level solo WF Wiz build... for now?

    Race: Warforged
    Stats:
    Str-8
    dex-16
    Con-12
    Int-18
    Wis-6
    Cha-6

    Feats: Mental Toughness, Combat Casting

    Enhancements: Amplify Fire, Amplify Repair

Spells that I'll actually use: Light Repair, Burning Hands, Summon 1 (for now)

Weapon: Eternal Wand of Finger of Fire

Equipment will be more int & SP based unless someone says different

I plan on taking mainly fire & repair skills, maybe summons if it helps a solo a lot, not to mention when it gets more difficult, defensive spells as well

    Here's are the questions...

For a rank 3, does that seem decent starting for a mainly solo wizard?
Do I need that much Con, or do I need to change a couple stats around for more or less Con?

As for prestige, I don't see anything on the wiki, but if there are prestige that I should take (wanting to be a surviving damage dealer over all) which would it be?

and should I try to take mith body & the ASF reduction feats as warforged for a bit more AC

I think that's all my questions for now.

Thank you for your time... yet again.

EDIT: I know it's low level, but I want to make sure I'm on the right track as well as some info I'm not sure about in this adaptation of D&D

Don't worry about dexterity or Armour Class. Drop Dexterity down to 8 and put all the points into constitution. The only points you need on a warforged wizard are constitution and intelligence. If you have points left over then they can go into strength (for carrying capacity) or charisma (for UMD).

Archmage is the PrE of choice for a warforged as the alternative - palemaster - has lots of self healing and survivability (which a warforged already has and most of the affects are not additive).

The flavour of archmage is quite flexible though and dependent on which spell focus you choose. Probably for low levels you'll find (greater) spell focus: evocation to open up the line of cheap force damage spells to be good. Getting secondary in conjuration (for cheap web), major in necromancy/enchantment (for high DCs) are the other popular options.

Make sure that you take Insightful Reflexes feat at some stage which adds your intelligence modifier instead of your dexterity modifier to reflex saves to power your evasion.

The reason that AC doesn't matter is because of the dice system in DDO so, basically, unless you have an AC within 20 points of the absolute max attainable in the level range that you are in then you will see absolutely 0 benefit from your AC and other builds - like monks and tanks - can get ACs as high as 100 which you can never hope to even get close to on a wizard.

I created several wizards so far, and I also play solo. IMO, great initial stats for solo play are Str 14, Dex 8, Con 18, Int 18, Wis 6, Cha 6. (32-points toon)

Str is pretty useful in many occasions, such as carrying capacity, opening levers in some quests, and also avoiding becoming helpless when your stat is debuffed. Using a greatsword at the initial levels also can help a lot when you don't have so many spells and sp.

As wax said, don't worry with AC. Not only AC doesn't work well at higher levels, but you're also a caster and don't need to engage mobs at all. Just get yourself a Spearblock docent to reduce damage from arrows and you'll be more than ok. Also, don't waste a feat in Combat Casting. You'd go better with metamagic feats, foci feats in your preferred schools (according to the prestige you're going to take), Insightful Reflexes and the spell penetration line.

Fire is really great at start. At lvl 3 you get Scorch, which is a pretty nice AoE, and also get Scorching Ray for single target damage. Then only gets better from this point..
