    Default Teleport

Probably someone suggested iot earlier, but...
Please, add to teleport an airship/guildship option.
It would really help a lot.
Most of people with guilds regen their mana/sp, use bank, and take buffs on airships. They dont use tavern, bank and ship to do it.

Some people believe they don't add airship to Teleport because that way they can keep on selling airship beacons on the DDO Store. I prefer to think they didn't add it because.. they didn't. As many other stuff still not implemented.

Also... minor grievance I know but... Would be too much to ask an airship entrance in House C? (and *cough* some other places *cough*)

If Turbine decided to implement this it would likely take the form of a teleport beacon to be placed on the ship in a amenity hook point, be available to level 50 guilds in-game for plat and level 45 guilds in the store for 250TP. But, I'd like to see it was well.

The airships don't exist as instances until you go there. The beacons work because they create the instance for you, but adding that to the teleport spell would be a lot of work and quite a mess. I'm sure the devs have tried.

Well not intireally true. As long as someone is there the insance exists. It would probably put a major drag on the system if the instance was made permement.

I'd love to see a reusable Airship Beacon in the game. Maybe added to the Guild Vendors in House K, starting at lvl 65 with three charges. Another charge added for every 10 guild levels after that.

That's a terrible excuse. There's no reason to not put the teleport spot there and have the instance created when you teleport, just like what happens when you go to a port.

you can teleport to the portable hole. Its not always got anyone else there. ergo, this shouldn't be an issue.

IIRC the PnP teleport spell requires you to be familiar with your target - the more familiar, the less chance of the spell putting you somewhere bad. Like inside a wall.

Now, I understand why they have fixed teleport locations inside a game like DDO. I can't even begin to comprehend how difficult it would be to do otherwise. But your guild ship ought to be the most familiar place a character has, certainly more familiar than, say, House Phiarlan to your average non elf.

So I say /signed - put this in.

However, also IIRC, many mages built 'teleport stations' in their towers in DDO, with detailed mosaics and specialised enhancements to pick up a teleport spell happening near by and force materialisation in the special chamber, thus providing the resident wizard with both a memorable and reliable arrival point as well as effectively a 'front door' for visiting/invading teleporting guests. So I also have no problem with it being a gold seal buff for lower level ships or an available for plat one for higher level ships, taking up a large equipment slot if need be, but ideally being an advanced form of navigator, using the same slot.

Then people can choose if its worth it to them. Personally I find 'porting to House J is the shortest distance/time from arrival to airship tower, so I'd just use that.

Porting to House J puts you in a shop - i.e. extra loading screen.

House P or Marketplace would both be better as You're dropped out in the open and not too far from airship access.

The loading screen isn't a problem for me, which is why I said 'personally' - myself, I have found the House J shop marginally faster. YMMV.

Oh, yeah. If e.g. teleport to Market dropped us just by ship entrance... That would be good enough and would make me really more happy person.

Bring teleport more inline with PnP: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...Basic-Teleport
