Lord of Blades is really the only challenge in this game. Why change it? Normal is actually really easy, but the only difficulty that gets pugged nightly. Still, not EVERYTHING has to be so easy a 6 year old can do it. Leave some of the challenge in the game.
Since you find normal easy I assume you only do it on hard, elite or epic. So why do you care if they change normal? It will have zero effect on you.

If that were possible, I'd only run it on elite and sometimes epic. But since most pugs are for normal, I do normal.

How many people do you see running shroud above normal?

Make LoB easier, and we will have another boring grindy raid.

People talk a lot about skill, but when it comes to effort, they shy away. I've had people say "I don't care about fun, I just want my loot" multiple times. That's why there are servers who never completed epic LoB.

With the death of sands scroll farming (good riddance!), LoB is the only thing in the game that still rewards effort.

If you want the shiny, shiny loot, you are free to spend the time and attention and resources that everybody else is.

You will have to build, or at least join, good parties. It will eat a lot of scrolls and take a bit of time. That is a good thing. No one is entitled to loot, it's supposed to be earned.

Then carry a lot of mana potions. Mana potions will make up for a poor group composition.

2 tanks is pretty much mandatory unless you really, really know the raid well, but any Barbarian with medium-level healing amp and that owns a shield can fill in for the second tank.

Edit: 2 bards, while possibly optimal, is far from needed.

Give it some time OP, once upon a time Shroud was considered a challenge (I think), in time this quest will be mastered and you'll waltz through it while drunk and/or high.
