Just spent 25 minutes on a lengthy post only to have the forum log in message (x2) swallow it and rediirect me to the main page. Cant be bothered to retype it all so thanks for wasting my time!

A possible solution, forum devs:

Hope that helps!I found a fix for this... even after telling people to clear cookies, people just kept reporting the same problem. It has to do with your cookies being stored for your domain name with and without the www before the domain name.
I recommend doing a 301 redirect to adding the www in the htaccess file for anyone who types in the domain name without the www
This keeps your cookies looking at the www before the domain name every time and no more problems! Been running it for a few weeks now and it fixed everything.
FWIW, I just tried clearing all my ddo-related cookies.
I went to the forum login page, which had the "remember me" checkbox. I filled in my information and checked "remember me" and hit submit.
The login page then reloaded, without giving me an option for "remember me" and also without prefilling my data as it should.
I am running Windows 7 and Google Chrome 14.0.835.202 m.
I am glad to test for you guys if you need outside testers.
I hate workarounds, but since I've lost so many posts, I've made it a habit to type it out, highlight everything, and Ctrl-C. Then, if it goes awry, all you have to do is go back in and paste.
Just a thought.
Same exact issue here, pretty much.
I'm fine (and logged in) until I try to reply to a thread.
As soon as I click "reply", the forum logs me out. W-T-F #1.
When I try to login, with "remember me" checked, I'm redirected to a second login page that has no "remember me" option. And yes, my password was right. W-T-F #2.
When I log in AGAIN on that second page, I'm redirect back to the forum page and I have to go find the thread I wanted to reply to, assuming I even still want to reply at this point. W-T-F #3.
And if I do, I can finally reply.
Same here.
I cleared ALL my cookies.

I don't remember where I read it (one thread or another on this topic), but logging in with my.ddo rather than the forum login fixed it for me, stayed logged in even after restarting my computer, like it should.

Best fix I've seen yet is to log in through MyDDO and have it "remember" you there. That will keep you logged in to the forums.
As for time-traveling posts, which have become a huge problem as well, using Hybrid mode for viewing the threads instead of Linear mode seem to take care of that problem (but introduces you to the ugliest form of threading I've ever seen in my life).
nah, I actually seem to like logging in. The reason is though, is because its possible a pop up can occur and remember all your saved data on the internet.

Please post here with your issues, Droipamine is looking to keep things updated in one thread.
Have fun, and don't forget to gather for buffs!
