Going out of sneak/hide represents the monster noticing a door or switch spontaneously moving itself.

It's a comparison. First of the rogue's preparedness and ability to muffle noise and conceal movement, even on things their interacting with. This is valid in real world settings, so should only be enhanced to unusual heights in a magic-rich one. Second of the mobs' preparedness and alertness and buffs to similar effect. This is covered by their own skills and buffs. So, having rogues auto-fail sneak no matter the circumstances means that mobs are always alert, never distracted, and always more talented than the rogue... Except when the rogue is right in front of them, sneaking but not interacting. Hmm, that sounds dubious. Well, perhaps the mobs put unmuffable bells and undispelable magic mouths on Everything. So, back to my previous suggestion: Rogues should remain in stealth on interact, but mobs should get a fresh detection check at (penalty for the rogue/bonus for the mobs).

no, it chases the player becuase you become unstealthed, what you stated is what we are petitioning for:a spot/listen check vs our move silently/hide check. Although it is unrealistic so we are looking for alternatives.

It also be nice to be able to use distractions like the rogues trapmaking to pull mobs away form an area for a while.

Hard to argue with improved trap usefulness.
