Chat went dead on the start of the dragon fight, and now the whole game went dead as well and client has shutted itself. What the hell? And you sell the key to this lag fest in your store for what? 50 TP?

Yeah, I'm at work so haven't had a chance to try it, but if it's anything like the last few it will be horribly laggy. I really dreaded farming in all caster/cleric raid groups in the same spot. To me that's not real fun. I wish they would cove it out so it much more entertaining, but oh well...

Just had a wipe in Running with the devils, all lagged, froze up, couldnt even release... another festival, another problem

I haven't even ventured into the Graveyard - but the lag in House J is pretty **** bad at the moment. Anger inducingly bad.

Dear turbine,
Take the huge lagfest back out, its even worse the CC, the content is still freezing the whole server, same as last year, and it basically makes everybody frustrated as hell.
I case you guys are wondering, nobody cares about new (or old temporary event) content, all we care about is that we actually can play, and frankly, at this moment, the lag and the contiuation of freeze screens is already big without this stupid maybar event.
I was just in a dragon fight and nobody could do anything, I was maning a lever, pulled it, and the thing NEVER MOVED (pulled it multiple times) How are we suppose to finish the dragon fight, if we cant even do 1 thing that is neccesary to complete it.

It really is incredible, went into festival for first time, swung at a mob, went from 200 HP's to -12 without my bar moving.
Not a lot of fun so far!

Haven't had any problems so far, other than fighting the spectral dragon itself - I suppose 40+ people in an instance spamming combat spells and summons would cause most systems to slow down.
No unusual lag out in the graveyard or in House J so far.
Did three spectral dragon instances this morning and was able to craft my Epic Robe of Shadow without too much trouble.
Drops from the mobs out in the graveyard seem to be less frequent than they were in previous years, from what people in my group were saying.
This is on Khyber. Maybe the lag issues are server related?

Nah - happening on Argo as well. Sorta a flawed mechanic to be honest - it takes about 1 1/2 hours to gather enough motes to open - once you die (due to insufferable lag) you are booted and cannot reenter. Meaning that time was just wasted.
Couldn't move in the chamber. Spells did not do anything. Just froze and then died. At this time, unfortunately, you increase your chance of getting a scale by piking and not grabbing aggro. Obviously pets, dancing balls and blade barriers exacerbated the lag...or maybe were the cause?
Regardless, it is not really playable, or more importantly - fun or entertaining. Not sure you can fix the lag. But until you do, its not worth having the event up. Looks bad for Turbine to be honest.

Did anyone even complete a dragon fight so far? On Cannith it's freeze-fest all the time, tried twice and nobody could move, spells went off with 1min+ delay (1 min! really?) chat had 30ish secs lagand obviously dragon destroyed altars etc...not that I care about wasting keys but cmon, you should have known...

Went in and got ready in rooms. it start's and then the lag hits, I can't move I can't heal. after about 4 minutes of gargoyles swinging at me my HP suddenly hits zero and I die. I get booted out just before they somehow kill the dragon. no scale. no more key. then of course client crashes when I head back into Delera's.

ran in the Orien graveyard a bit before work today..... lag in graveyard didnt seem too bad.
The tavern lag in house J was horrid tho, 5 times to click door to get out.
Not sure i even care to run the dragon run this year.
Think the only think im grinding for are those potions that add light damage to your weapon for 1hr. 100motes each.

Lag isn't only in Mabar. Doing Necro quests none of my spells would land (again.) Everything else goes on - like me taking damage.
I even took damage after I was dead for a long time. Before release I was -3525/176. I took some screen shots it was so stupid.

I've done 4 dragons so far, 1 was quite laggy but we still managed to complete, 1 caused an instance crash, probably because we had lots of persistent spells and pets up, and we wiped because not enough people came back on afterwards and the instance had reset, and 2 went perfectly fine.
Got 3 scales in 4 runs, so no big deal.
I've experienced no lag in house J or the graveyard either.
That was on both Sarlona and Ghallanda.

Wiped in dragon raid due to lag and then whole group (we have ventrilo) kicked off server trying to do hound.
Get that dumb ass event off already.Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearle Harbor?

First run of Mabar preview this year reminded me of my first run at the preview last year. =)
Hopefully things will be rightsized so you can move and fight the dragon again by Halloween.

Logged on tonight to do event... No lag in graveyard or house J... got into first dragon fight on lvl 20 monk... had great group in instance could of easily taken out... had dragon to 50% health and no one could move but we could still chat... then game froze up and got booted... I could not log back into game tried 3 times... was on Ghallanda server...

Worst lag yet
I don't usually complain, but the lag has been getting worse and worse each day, and is now the worst it has ever been since I started playing the game. Take the thing down and fix it, we can't even play the game at this point, as the lag is so bad. Took me 10 minutes to get from entrance to Delaras to Joe Lantern.
