Default 18 cleric/2 rogue UMD evasion 34 pt build

I am looking for opinions on this build for end game. I deliberately took the last 2 lvls as rogue otherwise UMD wouldn't make it to 44 (with full gear, GH and feat) . at 20th level, with current gear, I can get his reflex save to 26. 29 once I finish the 2nd greensteel piece. 30 if I change out mobile spellcasting for another save feat.

let me know what ya think. Good or bad.

I know it's hard to deal the stats points with a build that requires so much everything, but 10 con is definitely too low.
I know you are going for umd, but if you're looking for a evasion splash, just go for monk. More feats, and a decent synergy with the cleric's wisdom... Oh well you won't reach any decent AC, but can be cool for leveling.
In your case, more feats (with monk) could do more thoughness, then more HP (that you obviously lack of).

Almost any 20 cleric can break the 500 HP pretty easily, so a splash can't just divide your HP almost by half ^^ Not affordable, it would take more than it brings

Another point, if you want UMD, just figure out that most of the people use umd only for heal scrolls and stuff... You're a cleric, you don't need that kind of UMD, so maybe you wanna drop it

    Agreed,

With Gear and as Human(skill boost)you can achieve Decent UMD as a cross class, but really what do you want UMD for. As a Cleric you have most of the things people want UMD for other than Teleport,Fireshield, stoneskin and a few other semi-usefull scrolls.

I would recommend going the Monk route. Drop Wis to 16, First Level Monk, 2nd around 13+ . Use waterstance for the +2 to Wis, increase con to 14.

You can reach good AC with a monk splash, mine are self buffed 75ish AC and have great saves. The AC is useless in epics, but works well everywhere else, evasion is good anywhere.

The only real reason to take rogue over Monk is for trap skills. In which case you put 2 more skill points in Int, take Rogue at level 1(for max distributuion of skill points) and the 2nd rogue level around level 13+ around the time you really want evasion after you get heal/BB and are doing Gianthold.

    Default more questions

Thanks for the info. Yes, a monk would be more optimal. I guess I would like to find out if the build is still viable for end game ( raid or epic). The reason I went with high UMD is because I have a tentancy to solo when I get bored with raids. I like to try high level quests on hard solo or other crazy things that i shouldn't be trying No risk, no reward!! the versatily would come in very handy.

I have been playing with the char builder and I haven't been able to get a 20 cleric above 300 hps. not including gear. Not sure how you got 500hps. Please let me know. I would like to find out if I am missing something.

Gear is where most of the HP comes from. However, you should always make at least a 6 point investment into constitution on just about any build (that would leave you with 14 constitution on a human). That's 40 HP or ~+10% HP at a very cheap cost. 8 strength is fine for a TR build and you can sacrifice a little bit of charisma for it too (assuming that you need the intelligence for skills).

UMD is nice for fireshield scrolls, displacement scrolls, overcoming alignment restrictions, teleport scrolls and a couple of other things but don't gimp your character trying to get it on a cleric.

I'd say you want at least 30 reflex without huge buffs for evasion to be valuable. Half-elf with paladin dilettante or using a second monk feat for lightning reflexes is a good idea. Even then, it's a tough call between whether evasion or Divine Intervention is more valuable (particularly considering specific quest mechanics).

    Well, assuming a 300 base HP :
    Con + 7 item + 3 exc + 2 tome <= 120 more HP
    GFL <= 30 more HP
    Thoughness <= 20 more HP
GS HP item <= 45 more HP

Brings you to 515 HP easy pretty easily, without counting ship buffs, rage spell...

    + thoughness enhancements/feats
    Tarnesh(GateauFRANCIS, Life 10/10+) / Thazok(GateauTUNES, Life 5/4) / Thaerom(GateauHJEALS, Life 3/3)

Well... lets see. 1st life human cleric ay?

    020 Heroic Durability
    160 d8 class levels
    040 Base CON of 14
    022 Toughness Feat
    030 Human toughness enhancements
    -----
    272 Naked HP @ 20

Lets add in some fairly easy gear:
020 Minos Helm or Thaarsk(sp?) bracelet
    030 Greater False Life item
    060 Basic +6 CON item
    020 Eat a +2 CON tome
    -----
    402

    Lets grind a bit more:
    045 Green Steel HP item
040 Unlocked ToD ring with total +3 exceptional CON & +1 from Human Adaptability CON (+4 total)
    040 Yugo CON pot
    ----
    522

    Lets grind like crazy:
    020 Eat a +4 CON tome
040 5 piece Abashai Set (+3 Profane CON, makes it uneven, +7 CON on cloak makes it +4 in total)
    -----
    582

    Add in favor rewards:
    010 Argo Favour
    ----
    592

    Add in a Guildship:
    020 CON +2 airship buff
    ----
    612

    Spells:
020 Rage (cast by arcane or drink a pot)
    ----
    632

    Silly stuff (stops casting):
    040 Madstone Rage clicky
    040 Double Madstone
    ----
    712

    More unsystainable sillyness:
080 Max proc Scouge Choker (Blood Rage)
    020 House D CON +2 pot
020 You started with 15 base CON & drank a +3 House D CON pot (for +2 extra CON)
    ----
    832

    You have too many TP:
    020 Store +2 CON pot
    ----
    852

And if you can fit it in anywhere: +5-20 HP from guild augment crystals

    Default clonk/ umd variant

I personally have leveled this toon to 20 and find it a blast being able to hit 20 and hit an AC without any real gear of 65.

I plan to, once i get greetsteel stuff done to reincarnate into his 2.0 version as a human.
