Monk TR

I am wanting to TR my wizard into a monk and would like some advice. I would like to know what kind of gear I should farm before TRing. I would also like some help on the build. I want a strong DPS dark monk with nice hp and saves. I was thinking maybe dwarf or half-elf. All suggestions are appreciated.

Robe: Dragontouched robe with +5 Resistance for saves. +1 Exceptional strength. And whatever for your last choice.

Monks have lower hp than most other melee charachters so greater false life and other items like that are recommended, minos legends comes to mind.

Handwraps: I personaly have +4 True law handwraps of bleeding with the winter icy burst enhancement equipped, pretty much all monks who want to stun have some sort of +10 stunning wraps (highly recommended).

Half-elf is the way to go, you can eventually tweak your build to use healing scrolls which is huge relief to healers.

Sorry im only level 16 so i don't really know any epic gear that's recommended.

Necklace: Oremi's Necklace, this will help you gain lots more ki (+1 ki generated per hit) which is crucial for dark monks.

Ring: While we're at it might as well get Oremi's ring to get the set bonus, the ring is great for giving extra hit points.

levels 1-4, don't worry drink pots.
although of note, philarian mirror cloak and a crafted robe of invulnerability

level 5+ try get atleast a 3 piece abishai set, i'd recommend the gloves, boots and helmet.

icy rainments
healing amp healing amp +3 ac or guard dragontouched
vampiric stonedust handwraps

2 tod rings, 1 with holy burst 1 with shocking burst. (aim for kyosho set and encrusted set)

a greensteel min2 hp item would be advisable. cloak is good for leveling since tharnes are awesome, but at very endgame gear the only place i seem to be able to put hp items are goggle slots.

jidz tet ka bracers are good if your a light monk, if not wear chaosgarde and upgrade it to the Tharaak Bracelet

The sora kell set is nifty.

most of the rest of it will be epic grinding.
