As for diplo would half ranks be enough for it to work I know Intim is an all or nothing thing is diplo the same?
Bluff can also be used to single-pull a target ... even from beyond line of sight. It also gives you a threat reduction capability (25% iirc) right after you use it.

Half ranks in diplo with your CHA is likely to be plenty for most times when you switch to "shed aggro" mode.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane

    My suggested order:
Toughness, Empower, Maximize, DM1, DM2, Heighten, DM3. Note that Heighten is probably good left till later levels, as you gain access to higher spell levels, and having Maximize and Empower for your first SLA is great - 2 sp Maximized+Empowered shocking grasp hits like a truck at lower levels.

Diplo is great for playing with agro; Yes, having half ranks hurt, however, if the 6 cha barbarian can get a usable intimidate with just 12 more ranks in it than you can get in diplo, then you can manage since your CHA bonus will be much more than the difference.
Yeah I like that order too..I'll go with that and diplo too didnt even clue in that it was Cha based.

Any suggestions on Spell selection for a Sorc as they have little ability to change their spell line up and limited slots especially for higher levels

Blood of the dragons allows you to change any spell without cost or timer for 1 hour. I usually farm gianthold tor or prey on the hunter if i need one.

Spell selection on Wyl (for endgame, of course - leveling will be significantly different):
1)Nightshield, Jump, Expeditious Retreat, Protection from Evil OR Hypnotism (Hypnotism is good for lowering enemy will saves, protection for evil is good for soloing to prevent being Commanded. I currently use Protection, due to a few bad experiences in which the healer forgot to buff everyone with it.)
    2)Knock, Resist Energy, Web, Blur
3)Rage, Haste, Displacement, Heroism OR Lightning Bolt (I don't carry GH, and if someone asks me for one it's nice to be able to pass them Heroism instead. OTOH, Lightning Bolt is great for single target DPS, and the SLA cooldown is really long.)
4)Dimension Door, Fire Shield, Wall of Fire (not that great, but amazingly useful for ToD), Enervation.
5)Ball Lightning, Niac's Biting Cold, Eladar's Electric Surge, Protection from Elements OR Cloudkill (cloudkill is nice for the concealment effect on Suulo, but not much else, since Solid Fog clickies are common and work just fine on everything else. Protection from Elements is great when tanking shadows or just self buffing/soloing.)
    6)Reconstruct, Chain Lightning, Disintegrate
7)Otto's Sphere of Dancing, Finger of Death, Prismatic Spray OR Delayed Blast Fireball (DBF is great for DPS electric resistant/immune targets and ice-themed monsters. Prismatic Spray lets you banish/FTS monsters without an SR check. Hard decision. I currently use Spray.)
8)Polar Ray, Otto's Irresistable Dance, Power Word Stun OR Symbol of Death (PW:S is great as a long range version of Otto's - no save, just SR. It doesn't last long, but certainly long enough to rush up and cast Otto's on whatever you stunned. However, the mass Enervation that Symbol of Death provides is great too. I currently use PW:S, but plan on switching soon.)
9)Energy Drain, Power Word Kill, Mass Hold Monster.
    Fear the Koala.
Jial, Wyllywyl, and an ever-changing list of alts.

I think that's pretty much all my questions.... So thanks to all of you that has helped me so far I was wrong or misinformed about some things but you all explained why in a polite and accurate manner and sometimes that's a rarity around here (especially since my builds tend to be a little unconventional or even outright flavor/experimental builds) so +1 to you all.

If I'm missing something feel free to say so. For now I think I'll be rolling up my Sorc..for a spells though I'll just wing it as I have a few Dragonbloods in my Shared Bank and if I get stuck I'll refer to your list Xeno
