Default Comic about how evil D&D is

I was very disturbed reading this:

Why did my Dungeon Master and friend never taught me to cast real spells?

Maybe that has been posted long ago here in the forums, I didn´t know it. Had great time reading it.
But just the first picture told me something was wrong: three girls playing and a female Dungeon Master.

The last scene...oh my, they like burn things, don´t they?

I saw this YEARS ago when my best friend's mom made him talk to his Pastor about playing D&D. She saw his D&D books and saw they had devils in them and freaked out. When I saw those I had to laugh. Especially since the group we played with were just out to have fun and didn't even follow all the rules.

Happily my friend was able to overcome his mom's objections and is still playing to this day.
    ... a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
    Seeking the bubble reputation,
    Even in the dragon's mouth.

No, it' s like really old. From when p&p D&D was a new thing and no one thought about online games.

And the "all female" work both in the way of promoting easier comparison to witchcraft and girl make better victims. Also at that time gender equality was still not that much an issue.

But the comic and the discussion were never really present in Germany (mainly because there weren't yet any FRPGs present when it became a hot topic on the other side of the atlantic, but also for some other reasons).

Oh and yes, book-burning wouldn't look well here, too.

More than 20 years playing D&D and now I discover in this comic that... we can cast spells in real life too!!!
After writing this post I'll go to the street and fireball everything that moves. I'll raise them as zombies later.
Don't worry for me, if I get caugh I have teleport. XD

I see. I began playing D&D in the 80´s, but never came across this one.
I mailed it to my friends, and actually they did know it, but had a laugh, anyway.

D&D Turns you evil, makes you cast spells and steal other peoples lunch money. Also turns you skin green and makes you grow warts, plus caused the stock market to crash and the aliens to wear tinfoil hats to avoid the scientologists mind control rays!! E V I L !!!!!!1!!!
