Help me gear?

I'm running a Ranger/Paladin/Fighter build, dex based, focussing on 2 rapier use. I hadn't played in over a year when I started back up a few weeks ago, and I went from level 9-13 without too much trouble. however, I've been dying a lot recently, so I actually took a look at what I was wearing, and I was pretty embarassed. Like, 5 things that I got on Korthos embarassed. Can anyone suggest things that a F2P player with 60,000 platinum could pick up that I could use?

Base + feat stats:

Str: 13
Dex: 24
Con: 14
Int: 10
Wis: 8
Cha: 17

Unfortunately, dex based (non-rogues) aren't going to get much love in the current game state (since you last played). Most stat damaging weapons which were bread and butter on alot of dex builds have been pretty nerfed.

At level 12 you should be able to equip a Paralyzer, so you may want to look at equipping one of those. I'm not sure what TWF feats you have yet - but if you aren't proccing a lot with your off-hand you may want to put your paralyzer in your main.

Also, with your budget, you may not be able to stick to rapiers - so look for all finesse based weapons.

Dying alot however is not necessarily due to your damage output (especially in a party). 14 is a little low on CON for a melee at 13. Look to get anything to add hitpoints - con item, false life, etc. Be sure you are wearing a heavy fort item as well.

Yeah, my gear across the board is pretty bad. Would you recommend Bracers of AC instead of armor, given that my prime stat is Dex?

I was suggested to use the Wrath of Sora Kell set, would that be a good idea?

A purely f2p build has a hard time after about level 10. The majority of the good gear comes from p2p.

Head: Terasaza's Sight(However the hell you spell it)
Necklace: Constitution item. +6 preferably.
Goggles: Goggles of Insight
Trinket: Stone of Good Luck
Gloves: Maenya's Fists
Cloak: Resistance +4
Bracers: Bracers of AC
Rings: Katra's Wit + Dexterity item
Belt: Belt of Greater False Life
Boots: Striding Boots
Armor: Heavy Fort
Weapons: Burst of Pure Good Rapiers or Burst of Maiming depending on Alignment.

It all really depends on the numbers.

If you can get your AC higher with your dex and some +6 bracers (or w/e your level allows) then for sure. Of course, make sure your AC is even something worth dealing with anyway, since unless it is really high, might as well be 0. At level 13 you are heading into Gianthold and similar areas. If you have much less than a 40 AC it's not even worth trying. For the most part, unless you can hit high AC numbers, focus on gear to up your HP, fort, DR, etc.

I don't have a lot of experience with the set you mention, although I think the set bonus is an increase to spell casting. Not sure why you would want to slot multiple items for a set bonus not applicable to your character. Whenever it comes to set items, be really really sure that the combined effects are really worth taking up the multiple slots needed to equip. In MOST cases, I find it not to be, especially for items that take up more than 2 and non Epic gear.
