With hireling/pet dmg being show in the combat log, has anyone done any testing with flame turret? Does the dmg get enhanced by augment summon, fire enhancements, etc?

Since it's a summon and not a hireling - does it's damage show in the combat log? I've not seen it do so on the live servers - but maybe there has been a change on Llama. I dunno.
However, Augment Summoning does not boost it's damage (nor should it). And since it is a summon, your own fire enhancements don't boost it's damage either.
So what should Augment Summoning due to summons?
Right now it boosts a summoned spiders damage and hitpoints, an arti's dog damage and hitpoints, any other thing that is summoned.
Should Augment Summoning be better defined ie... Augment Summoning adds +1 to all summoned stats and +1 per every 3 lvls of the caster over lvl 3. The +1 could be adjusted as i do not know what type of effect this would have on damage hitpionts ect...
If flame turret uses a stat to determine damage the flames due it could help balance it out (hits hard now up to lvl 10, ok at lvl 11 - 15 and not worth casting at >15 lvl). This would also give the turret lower hitpoints at lower lvls and more at higher lvls.
Augment Summoning
Usage: Passive
Your summoned creatures, charmed minions, and hirelings have +4 to all ability scores, increased health, and increased fortification.
I think it works fine on the Turret as it is. It does what it does to all summons... makes it a lot more durable. Yeah, it's effectivness dims at later levels... but all low level summons do. I think that there need to be higher levels of the spell - not ways found to make this one spell sustain it's use at end game.
Besides, there are a lot of other uses for the turret then just damage. It can block doors, draw agro (even at late levels), sit on a pressure switch. I'll also swear that the darn thing uses Intimidate, as I've seen the intim icon pop up when mobs are near the turret and I've not unleashed my mutt.
It's a really good spell as it is. And I think Augment does it's job quite nicely.Well, that's good to know.![]()
As for the damage - Augment has never boosted damage, unless it's melee damage via a higher Str score.
