Dragonmarks of the Storm and Metamagic feats

Can anyone who uses the Half-Elf Dragonmarks of Storm verify if they are affected my Metamagics?

Empower works, maximise works, heighten for some reason did not...which sucks. And Air savant breaks it really BAAAADDDDD - not cool. Other then that it is great.

Ill be picking up Maximize and IPS at 12,on my Lvl 9, 3rd Life (2 Rogue PLs) Helf (Rogue Dille) Artificer. He has all 3 DM, a bunch of Tasty Ranged Feats and AP spent in Electric so far. Will more than likely take Quicken, Empower Toughness and Rapid Shot as my last 4 feats (15, 16, 18, 20) and somewhere in there possibly trade Augment Summon for Construct Essence.

Seen a really effective build like this. Add in Toven's Hammer and a Lit 2 repeater, and you are a walking thunderstorm.

It works out quite monstrously even with halfarsed attention to all the nitpicky lil mini-maxi details...and using mainly a Holy/Good Burst GS HRXBow or +5 HB of GCB HRXBow, plus Lucid Dreams (and Tira's, Glorious etc when they make sense), 75% Electric and Kinetic Clickies, Belashyrras Scepter with Greater Kinetic Lore and GSF Evoc,

It plays so GD good that I put him aside in favor of my other toons so I wouldn't lose touch with them....

Is these worth bothering with on a non-spellcasting toon? I.e maybe a Ranger with Maximise/Empower?

I'm seeing maybe max DC20 on the Greater DM, according to the wiki its charisma based for the DC and heighten doesn't work on it anyway...
