Drunken raid runs

Saturday night Oct 8 @ 9 Eastern 6 Pacific is what we're set for.

As usual the people who have ran it in the past get first dibs until Friday. Then it's open to anyone. You can sign up now even if your new to the runs and I'll put you on the reserve list. If it hasn't filled by Friday I'll move you to the main list. Also if the main list is full feel free to sign up for the reserve list as there's always a no show or two and if there isn't there's always 1-2 people who end up passing out within the 1st hour from too many shots.

We run the basic raid stuff Reaver, Shroud, Hound, etc. The boring stuff to get the next 20 multiple in the grind out of the way and have some fun with the boring stuff. Then we start the rotation all over again. Switch toons as needed. The rules are as follows. Novice level people do shots of their choice before & after every quest and drink their drink of choice along the way. Advanced level people do the same but they also do shots as we go thru ANY portal. That's the portals in every part of the Shroud all the ones in the sub on the way to Hound/VOD etc. The main rule is have fun and prepare to fail a raid or two at some point once we get too drunk. Once that happens there's no finger pointing or yelling. We just laugh at how stupid and drunk we are and rerun it.

The LFM will go up just before the given time by one of Eric's toons most likely Sam Adams. It will most likely just say reserved. Please send a tell with your forum name so I know who's who and hit join.

Just because you're a Redneck doesn't mean you know how to fish. As far as the drinking, I can assure you you won't hold a candle to the amount of booze we put down two weeks ago on our fishing trip. The bar tab alone for 6 of us the night before we went out cleared $1000 and that was just the hotel bar nothing fancy. FYI we did catch fish Shrek even caught a shark but nothing major other than the shark to be honest. We could have caught bottom fish all day long if we wanted to but we all chose to go after the bigger stuff.

So go play with the brookies with your son and pretend that you're fishing. Here's a hint. If you're not in a boat you're not fishing. Your just sitting on the shore drinking beer with a rod in your hands. There's a big difference.

All said and done I finishe 3/4 of a handle of Svedka along with all the beer I drank. I think we only ran for 5 hours too if I'm not mistaken.

I will be at the farm my wife's family owns in north central Kansas. We will be fishing on the Republican river, which runs through the farm. Lots of nice catfish in the river (nice hunting too), but to be truthful it is the first fishing trip since the boy turned 21. I don't care if we don't catch any.

Doing this from my frigging phone. My screen died so its gonna be a while before i can back into the runs.

Also why i was AWOL last saturdays run as well.

Hopefully will be able to buy a new screen within a couple weeks. Heheh if my phone had a bigger lcd i would try it there but that might be pushing it.

You're not going fishing. You're drinking at the waters edge with a rod in your hand. Noodling would be the only true form of fishing for catfish. Anything else is as I said, sitting near the water and drinking. There's nothing about catfish that qualifies as fishing except, as I said, noodling and even I won't do that. That's some crazy stuff.
