    Default Dragon in the Waterworks

You know you want one there.

Just add it as a rare (and since you recently changed a couple Korthos quests, we know you can add another basic room to the waterworks).

    My idea for this:

Very young green dragon (ie, not a big dragon). This can be accentuated by placing the dragon by a large, hatched open egg.

Maybe make it a bit of a challenge, but nothing a FULL party of newbies couldn't beat. Vets would still probably be able to sneeze and kill it.

    Chest:
    Random generated mostly
small chance at Green dragon plate, green dragon hide, or eye of the hatchling.

    Green dragon plate:
    (unbound)
    full plate (normal stats)
    +1
    exceptional acid resist 5
    false life

    Green dragon hide:
    (BtA; exclusive)
    leather (normal stats)
    +1
    exceptional acid resist 5
dragon haze: green hue around user (counts as blur, lasts 30 seconds, one use per rest)

    Eye of the hatchling:
    (BtA; exclusive)
    trinket
    greater corrosion II
    lesser acid lore III

Not sure about in the WW itself, perhaps an optional in the Chain?, but this game definitely needs a few more Dragon Colors - Green would be top of my list too!

Honestly not a bad idea IMO, but could be given to somewhere else besides WW slayer, (as stated chain poster above)

    What levels btw?

Dragon's? PFFT!! Gimmie a Dracolich anyday..

Though I think Steam Tunnels or an optional in Shan-to-Kor would be a better place for a hatchling or baby green.

I'm all for additional rare encounters that are interesting and worth seeking out. Waterworks is one of the better wilderness areas already however, so perhaps putting this into a zone that has no unique item drops as of yet would be a better use for it; Cerulean hills and the one off the Marketplace both come to mind. Steam Tunnels would also be an appropriate low-level place.

Why the BTA on the hide and trinket, as an aside? I think low level gear should not bind on general principle, unless it comes from P2P content. I wouldn't mind having some named full-plate to gift to lowbie fighters and paladins when I run across them, same with the leather and rangers/rogues/artificers/bards/barbarians/what-have-you.

Well, the full plate has no clickies, so it is unbound.

The leather armor and trinket don't have to be BtA, but I wanted them exclusive (moreso the leather) since the effects on them are quite handy, and shouldn't be used more than their intended number of times per rest.

As far as moving the dragon somewhere else:
I don't have access to steam tunnels, so I can't say anything about there, though it is true that WW has plenty of cool features already.
Cerulean hills could work, sure. Perhaps in a cave, off to the side...
Edit: the one off the marketplace is searing heights. While it could maybe use some love, the dragon doesn't really fit the lore of the area (at least, not in my opinion)

Since it is waterworks, add the same dragon they have in Atraxia Slayer.

If its going in waterworks throw some kobolds in the room, in case it gets hungry waiting on some adventurers.

What dragon would deign to live in a festering sewer?

These are intelligent creatures, not kobolds or monsters.

I'm going to go against the grain and say /not signed.

EDIT: I should add that neg repping isn't for people whose opinions you disagree with, but people who are disruptive, inflammatory, and/or breaking social or forum rules. Conversely, pos repping is for people who are posting something that's constructive to the community, not for people whose opinions you agree with.

Don't pos or neg rep this post, please. I am stating my opinion and giving reasons for it, not being inflammatory or constructive.

Actually having a dragon (doesnt really matter what colour) called Arboth as an optional in a higher-level dungeon or explorer area would be awesome... "I TOLD you i was a dragon! RAAGHHHH!" tho for fun it'd have to be one where you could choose between dialogue or a fight, after all who'd want to kill a poor lil kobold who'd managed to achieve his dream?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

I'm also going /not signed on this for the same reason. Waterworks is a sewer. Albeit a very elaborate sewer, but it's not a dragon's den. Even if the dragon was trying to perform a back alley abortion on the egg, it would not be able to squeeze into a sewer for one. I'm sure a dragon of any color walking through the city trying to squeeze into the sewer entrance would alert the guard standing right there at the entrance as well Guard Tember. Also, it's a dragon, they have more class than a rank sewer. Heck I was even disappointed seeing a dragon at Korthos. It took away the majesty that I experienced the first time I saw Velah, when DDO's max level was only ten.

to the two naysayers, how smart can they be though?

i mean, come on, the smartest dragon in the game, Velah, was dumb enough to get trapped in a Vault by dwarves... and we all know dwarves dump stat int for str and con.

If they dont add a dragon, maybe an alternative could be a Wyvern.

Let me make an addendum to my previous post.

    They are PRIDEFUL creatures.

There is no reason one would want to go into a sewer. None. At all.

Not to mention I imagine the people of Stormreach, or at least some of the other dragons, or the agents of Argonessan would make an attempt to rescue a dragon that had been trapped in the sewers unjustly.

    WHAT toilet??

I have only ever seen ONE set of toilets in all of DDO, and that was the one in Party Crashers. 100,000 miles of sewers just to service ONE set of toilets in all of Stormreach?

On the other hand -- could you imagine the lines to USE those toilets? No wonder that group of teiflings is so upset when you wander in there. They arent actually there for an assassination attempt; they are just worried you will try and cut in line
