Some additional info for posterity, or for anyone interested:

As noted on the wiki the loot drop from chests should be equal to a standard level appropriate chest.

Below are the loot drops from a complete 25 chest run for a level 20 toon (in fact, the exact same set of chests that I composed the map from).

Nothing stellar by any means, but some good deconstruction items!

• You obtain 270 Platinum Pieces, 2,329 Gold Pieces, and a Deathblock Outfit of Spell Resistance (19).
  
• You obtain 271 Platinum Pieces, 10 +5 Healer's Kits, 20 +5 Anarchic Arrows, and +5 Blueshine Banded Mail of Spearblock.

not to derail or troll, but whats the point of that map? whenever you read treasure scroll, it marks the location, not like you can go there and loot without reading the scroll first...

Not only that there are good crafting items for deconstruction, there are great loot, too

I've got +4 ghost tough dwarven axe of Disruption. And my friend... +1 greater heart of wood...

not logged on currently, but yellow markers should still be visible on map dont they? even if you have used multiple scrolls.
you can open in-game map and click on nearest, will produce direction arrow on minimap

I wish the maps/chests where party quests with party lootable chests. There would be a lot more incentive to party up and kill out in the area if that was the case.

There is still some incentive: if you're in a party and one person gets a map, everyone gets a map (as long as they are on the island and in the same instance).

yea you can read all maps you have befor starting looting them

Yes I'd say +2 Tomes and Hearts of Wood is a pretty good incentive if you are working the Crystal Cove content. Not sure I'd go out there and farm for these items if I weren't trying to open up CC.
