Couldn't seem to get Olga to cast.. well, anything. Kept telling me she was out of range. Hey, hireling bugs, big surprise right? Anyway, enjoy.

    Thanks for the post.

But, it looks like personal vitals are included in both of those screenshots.

Personal Vitals = Oschkosch's HP bar being in the party list, or not. I rechecked, and per that description, the pictures are valid.

Are you perhaps interpreting personal vitals = numeric vs. percentage value?

The not including personal details can trick the new and player alike into thinking incomplete party.

Also I still wish they'd actually give use stuff we want like player statuses [PM, cursed, etc] and the players level indicator.

It's a selectable UI option. If you don't like it one way.. toggle it back to the other? I mean, don't know what to say there.

It's a selectable UI option, with the default the wrong way is the issue. Or, maybe they changed the default on Lamannia?

Not that I'm aware of. I had to toggle it.

Wrong way is subjective. I personally use the "wrong way" as you put it, and I don't see that preference changing come U11.1

it's not entirely subjective, considering they changed the behavior of the UI display by default, and provided a toggle to _put it back the way it had been for the last 5 years_.

it's poor software design practice but *shrug* they seem do this every time they introduce new stuff.

Might be just me, but I really dislike the text overlapping/touching. Looks sloppy to me, and makes reading the numbers and names more difficult than it should be. I hope there will be a larger UI pass in future updates.

I'd like to see a screenshot of say a clonk with all three bars and all three numbers. Cause I don't mind the look of the hp/sp stuff but with the ki bar going at the same time, could get a little cluttered...

Then you're looking for someone not me. I play pure class toons.

Although really, if you have a Clonk or something where that's the issue, why not change to Percentage-based bars? I mean, you'll still see *your* Ki and SP, because you have the individual character Portrait/Bars. It's not like you need to know what the other Clonk's Ki is in a raid.

I'm just thinking aloud there - not meaning to be down on the Clonks, or other Multiclasses just because it's not my thing. But since Ki is Monk specfic, this is only affecting Monks and Monk splashes, yeah?

Perhaps a better solution would be to just remove Ki from the party UI bar. It's not like anyone needs to know how much Ki X monk, Y Clonk, or Zsploiter has at that particular moment.

    Same.

The font looks smaller, and I have to strain my eyes harder to read vitals.
Wish they'd put more options, and let us tweak UI to fit our needs, instead of trying and coming up with a one-size-fits-all kind of solution.
Personally, I like 11.0 UI more.

I like the new UI set-up a lot... Now.... I still dont' get teh removal of the auto-attack ont he personal bar for the USELESS protrait.... Waste of however many minutes that took to code...

But this cooldown flashing thing has to go.....

Again, why change something that NOBODY is complaining about and works fine? Come on.... The slight hazing and clock style timer was easy enough to see. In fact I have NEVER heard a single person complain about this... No flashing please...

I strongly disagree. This version is so much better than the 11.0 one. Font seems the same size, but readability is vastly improved by putting names in the box instead of hovering above. Also restoring to the broader width makes healing less of a struggle.

Thanks Turbine for listening to the UI criticism.

    Lol, neg rep for this?

    And I'll agree to disagree.
It's user interface we're talking about.
    Not absolute rights or wrongs.

For me, italic font style and intruding long names make U11.1 UI less readable than U11.0.
I'm glad some guys are ok with it.
The underlying issue here is: we're not being given more options to tweak and resize UI to individual tastes and needs.

We're being fed a one-size-fits-all kind of solution.
