    Default 12 monk earth stance AA

    Anyone tried any builds with this yet? How was it? Is it worth going 12 monk for the earth stance on an AA?

    Yes, completely.

    Marcosias is one of the most amazing archers i've played, and I make a lot of builds. Also the extra crit multiplier is extremely noticeable esp. during manyshot.

    Earth stance vs critables, Fire vs Noncritables, Wind vs things you're having problems hitting... which does pop up a little bit depending on gear in epics.

    Handwrap Melee when Manyshot is off cooldown, range if the mobs will hurt you more than you'd like, you have high mobility and sprint boost for kiting, you have DR in earth stance, you can really good strikes for improved melee combat...

    Basically can switch back and forth between melee and range at will without losing much effectiveness.

    hmm I have a aa monk that uses ss while manyshot off but havent played him in a very very long time...

    Might have to change him to earth and see how much it improves his bow dmg.

    have one love it. best thing about it is the *5 crits i'm getting with the bow of sinew with the new point blank shot changes. I'm yet to run numbers, but I'm pretty sure the only bow that could beat it now is the Epic Thornlord.

    12 monk = touch of death, abundant step, and with the right bow *5 crits, the dr earth stance grants is nice for leveling too.

    This is the most stat stretched build i've played to date though, it's the 19dex you need for improved precise shot that makes things incredibly hard. 34 or 36 points will make a big difference

    I ended up actually going ranger-high on the first life; I figured since I had less build points and really only +2 tomes not having to build for a super high DEX was more useful. Past lives as ranger get me more attribute points, which help for the switch to a class that isn't getting IPS for free.

    And, with the boost to 10k stars, those ranger PLs should increase DPS with a bow nicely.

    Even moderately geared with mostly BTA twink gear, this thing is a beast and a blast to play.
