    Default artificer prestige classes

please allow at least one of them to take on many traits of a construct as a fleshy and allows you to use repair spells on yourself. even if its only 75% of normal or something. i think there is a pnp prestige similar to this already. reason i ask is i REALLY dont want to see another class played by 95% warforged race (ie sorcs/wizards).

Steampunk-style cyborg dudes with magical arm cannons...I love how Eberron can be such a crazy mixing bowl - about the only setting that has the potential to be even more mental I've ever seen is Planescape.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

My melee wiz is a Horc. His mission is to reincarnate thru each class while remaining Horc. Just for the Challenge and the love of melee.

You are in the minority of wizards I assure you :P
not that its a bad thing... I want more diversity. Which was the reason behind my OP. I just like being able to self heal on all my classes... and I dont mean only UMDing heal scrolls lol. not good for combat at all

I like being in the minority, enjoying a special challenge, overcoming adversity while enjoying diversity.

My current wiz is a WF. His mission is to reincarnate thru each class while reamining a WF. I bet cleric is going to give me some very strange looks.

2handers seem to work well on a cleric!

-2 Wis, -2 Cha, poor aura self healing...ouch

    HP, Flavour...WOOT.

I agree, we need to see far more variety across the board.

Heh, who reckons we are gona see a million artificers for the next few months?

    <thread derail>

Not really. I see a lot of WF Clerics, Favored Souls and Paladins. Even a few Bards.

Only if they also get a 50% negative to divine healing.

id be fine with that even lol. but only if they got every bonus immunty and DR that WF had :P. i was thinking only giving like a small amount of DR and the ability to be repaired at 75% of normal or something. some sort of divine penalty would be ok too. i just want a cyborg halfling that i can repair!!! :]

To be honest I see a nice variety in races that play sorcs and wizards.

It's better than how bad melee classes are dominated by Half-orc.

I wouldn't see them being completely one or the other from the OP. Basically make it so that they don't reap the full benefit of repair or divine healing.

just thought i'd mention, artificer appears to get (a) spell(s) that turn cure potions into AOE healing boosted by some artificer enhancement...

so, uhhh... you may not need to worry about reconstruct for self-healing, depending on how much the artificer gets to boost those potions

That's why we need Renegade Mastermaker.

Steampunk-style techomagical warriors with arm cannons NEED the other arm to SMASH THINGS!

And to wear docents would just be the cherry on top. Imagine the look of a shirtless fleshy (perhaps not so shirtless as female) with mechanical plating on instead of clothes.

    Bad. Ass. <-!
