No. I don't care about any promise, perceived or otherwise. I spend plenty of Turbine points on hair dye, armor kits and assorted junk. I have also bought more spirit cakes than I'd like to admit. If +3 tomes are available in the store they just won't seem special anymore. I'll take the essence of cleansing on my next 20th Shroud- or maybe we should be able to buy those too.

ok first of all i have to say that i am playing the game(ofcourse i did some breaks) since the start i missed beta because my pre-order pack delay.

started in Europe and transfered here to Ghallanda

+3 tomes introduced first at Reaver raid cap 14 and i got one in early days of reaver with the old raid loot system(someone people probably dont know about it but was a different loot system in raids)
my next +3 tome came at 80 reaver reward really alot time after the first one.and thats all

i got 2x+3 tomes in ddo all this years more than 5.never saw even +4 tome drop to my group.(probably i am unlucky and give unlucky bonus to group too)

so whats the point after my tr i dont have any +3 tome i did alot of raids but no tomes so far.and after finish all gear in my wiz i am grinding raids for the reward because maybe i can get a tome there.

what you expect me to vote?

ofcourse i dont want to see +3 tomes or anything that is considering too rare and powerful in the ddo store.
but really i dont care.i will finish my raids completes until that time and if still i dont have the +3 int tome i will buy it from stop if price is ok.

my big problem lately is this lfms and raids.i dont understand why but raids atm is hard to see an lfm.chrono maybe i saw 2 lfms all this days after u11.i mean epic ofcourse.and instead some 20 lvl chars trying to do queen elite or chrono elite or i dont know what.

i liked the changes with raid bosses on epic more hard more fun but i dont think the rest server agree thats what i see from lfms.but usually with +3 tomes on store vod-hound will drop alot more.

i dont consider +3 tomes crazy powerful but they are rare as i said and this will ruin lfm panel more.so i my vote is NO!!! no crazy about it but its not a good move and lfms already dead and its raid item after all if you move it to normal epic quest loot table can be to the story with no prob.

That's not what this is about at all. Not for me anyway.

It means quite a bit to be honest. If no promise was given, then is unjust to say a promise existed. At the end of day, no one wants their words twisted, no one.

No one's words are being twisted.

They stated:
"We will not do *this*" and now they are doing it.
They are breaking their word. Calling it a broken promise is semantics. They're synonymous. It is certainly not a twisting of words.

I like this. I have played nearly 2 years and NEVER had a +3/+4 tome drop in my name. I have won a roll on one +4 strength tome in ToD, had a +3 passed to be in Abbot, and have gotten two +3 tomes (WIS/STR), as end rewards on Shroud etc.

On my toons, combined I have 100+ epic VoNs, 140+ eDQ, 200+ Shrouds, 80+ Abbots, 120+ ToDs, 60+ Reavers etc. So it is not like I am a casual player.

I plan on buying some, since I can never get them in the game. This will give me some flexibility in builds, and allow me to move some stats around. I am excited.

However, it might have a place in future as the level cap expands further - then while the ML of your raid loot +3 tomes remains 11, the ML of a bought one could be 21 or so.
