No.
NO!
What's next +4 tomes? Green Steel Weapons? Epic Raid Tokens? or even Completionist?
Where does it end?
Xylin, Xylon, Xylen, Zylin, Ximm, Hauk, Haukeye, Haukeyes, Haukfu,Bobthecaster KneecapslayerR.I.P. Xyklon
To all the veteran players out there saying no to this, does it really even matter anymore?
*Shrugs and walks away*

Seeing the dev's post that they're looking at putting +3 tomes into non-raids says that +3 tomes are going to shift to non-raid gear in the future. Yes, it's power creep but honestly it's less 'creepy' than most of the new gear. Also given that ubiquity of +3 tomes would make many builds more viable, that +3 tomes will not be raid-exclusive in the future, and that they're main power isn't in unbalancing a toon but in opening up options...
Yes.
Yes
Let's do a little math: 5000 points cost 50.00$ So every point is one cent right? A +1 tome cost 355 points. It's mean it's cost 3.55$. A +2 tome cost 595 points. It's mean it's cost 5.95$.
So between a +2 and a +1 tome there a difference of 2.40$. If the same difference applies, the cost of a +3 will be something like 8.35$ A TOME.
If really someone want to spend 8.35$ to get +1 dmg/+1 attack bonus, it is choice...
I don't mind/care.
(Although the drop rate at the moment is beyond ridiculous. I would expect to actually have +5 ones and at the drop rate of the current +4, +4 at the drop rate of current +3, and +3 at a much higher drop rate - always at the appropriate quest level though.)
Hell Yes!!!
Lets have fun with it guys. I've personnally aquired a +4 tome on 3 different capped toons and 2 +3 tomes apice on them as well but there are a few +3 tomes I'd really like to get for 2 of my capped toons and trust me I've done the grind every day for the last couple of years. This is supposed to be for a limited time so take advantage of it while it lasts. Lets see Juggernautte has a +4 Str tome, +3 Con and Wis tome, Choh has a +4 Dex tome and a +3 con tome, Glam has a +4 Wis tome and +3 Str and Chr tomes as well. So yeah probably +3 Dex and con fer Glam and +3 Dex and Str fer Choh and I'm good. So yeah i think I deserve to have a few of em.
Does voting yes give me negative rep?
I'd say yes though. Power creep is everywhere else. Make +3's more common while you are at it and I think everyone will be happy.
That is a Yes and because of my awesomenss I am pulling a Harima and empowering it with a X50.
For all those saying No I want to ask a few simple questions.
1: How much do you spend on DDO each year? If less then 400 bucks your opinion matters very little.
2: How much time do you spend on the game, and of that how much is Raiding or Epics? If the answers are ALOT for both then your opinion matters very little.
3: If you feel that the Meta Game and Min Maxxed play is THE STANDARD, then you really only have yourselves to blame for what DDO has become.
Walk away if how others play or help to fund the game bothers you so very much. Ive been using this game largely as a solo game for years as it lost the entire population of gamers in my area long ago. Once about a 100 of us at my local hobby shop used it as a way to connect with others. we had several guilds and as time went on, and more vocal forumites where about pure classing, harrassing others via using MYDDO to stalk people who dont use heavy fort or up con, they all left and I am even since FTP the last one who comes here off and on.
Its you so called Leet players who ruined the game, by demanding content only your style could explore, and in turn meant the power you enjoyed would become the most essential thing to sale to the casual.
If you really wanted to see this end, you would want to see all so called elite and epic content reduced in numbers, along with the power of the items pretty much from green steel on up then we could bring back some semblance of sanity to the power scale.
But that wont ever happen. You guys feel those hard earned items deserve that power, those Multi TRd toons Deserve those extra stat points that ruin the experiance for anyone who teams with you who doesnt.
In PnP one of the biggest challenges and needs of a DM is to keep all players roughly on the same page. In an MMO that requires some common sense from the player base to, however we have had a very whiny and un D&D like attitude on the forums for a long time, I cant even count the number of times I have seen the trolls come out in mass when someone says well in PNP its like this and boom trolls close the thread.

I'm in the who the heck cares camp... I don't care about this loot or that loot.. I care aobut the game not being an F-in buggy mess, as it is now... Smooth running game = Fun.. The rest is just a bunch of cryin' by a bunch of pathetic sods![]()
Yes
Yes, it is a good thing.
It provides more revenue for the developers, who in turn will be able to design more content for the players, and also gives the whiners something new to uselessly complain about. Win/Win/Win.
No, atm.
When unbound +3 tomes start dropping as random treasure outside of raids at a reasonable drop rate, then yes. I see no reason not to sell anything in the store that is available in random loot tables.
