    No.

That being said, I'm not surprised by any of it. I wouldn't be surprised to find larges, rings, etc... in the store in the next year. There's a precedent being set here though that's very definitive, more so then other "vague" statements. This is simply a reverse on something many players eh....why bother....

You take a beloved franchise that has existed beyond video games, create a pretty decent game, suffer, sell, sell more, then sell out and somehow this is going to be good. Eh I'll still play until somebody else has the brilliant idea of having active combat instead of 0-9 etc...

Just so it's clear to those that think something basic:

More money does not equate to more content.

    Yes.

But this poll is moot. Turbine is selling them regardless of what this vote is.

    No. But I can't say I won't buy 'em...

Was going to say no ...
    But finally voting

    YES

    (albeit a small yes)
Game is already tedious enough, and +3 can be helpful making odd builds viable.
However that's only if they really become much more easily available through the game !

You never know. They've removed a few items from the LOTRO store after players complained a lot.

    No.

My general opinion is that Turbine does a decent job of balancing things like this. But I would have voted against Artificers being only available through purchase at launch, and I would also vote against +3 or +4 tomes in the DDO store.

Raid loot should not be available in the store.

Also diluting the raid loot by making it drop in additional locations seems like a non-ideal approach. I suppose one could remove the item from raid drops and replace it with something else that is equally desirable and can only be acquired by raiding.

Got to go, game ain't gonna play itself ...

The lack of D&D rules and even "changes in the spirit of D&D" has jaded a lot of players from even commenting anymore.

No - You should not be able to buy succes in DDO. You should have to earn it.

If you believe a company when they issue a statement, then go back on it, then don't care...sure I get that. It's part of the acceptance of mediocrity that the entire world has become accustomed to. That's working out so well....I personally don't accept it.

If you group at all, yes it does affect you. If you don't understand that, well....we all know the answer to that.

    No

However, the thing that prevents me from tr'ing is loosing the +3 tomes I have already eaten.
If they were for sale I would only purchase the ones I really need to replace; +3 dex for my GTWF toons etc.

    Yes

Because how you get your loot and gear really doesn't matter, so long as that gear is still available in-game, it's just a grind bypasser. Now if the Uber loot is only available in the store, then no, not a game I want to support or in which I want to play.

    In my opinion
Raid loot should stay in the raids
    This is only fair

Maybe, but you can't deny the sense of achievement when you finally get the item/tome you have been searching for. Oh wait, yes you can, they sell it in the store now.

    My vote is No btw.

    NO!

    But...

YES, only if Turbine does the following
    1. +3 tomes drop like current +2 (give or take)
    2. +4 tomes drop like current +3
    3. and put on loot table +5 tomes that drops like current +4 tomes.
