Survey: Boss beaters prior to Cannith Crafting

I had a discussion at a different place, and I am interested in the following:

Before Cannith Crafting was introduced, did you have any exceptional Boss Beaters, such as a +5 Holy (Burst) Silver Khopesh of (Greater) Evil/Lawful Outsider Bane?

If yes, which one? How much did you pay for it?

(Note that I am interested in replies from fellow Orien players.)

I have a few swords that might qualify as BB's.
+4 True Law Silver Bastard Sword of Greater Chaotic Outsider Bane (or something like that, not 100% sure what the suffix is, but it banes the livin cr*p out of some type of outsider)...think I paid like 25k platz for it.
+5 Metalline Bastard Sword of Pure Good...75k platz
+3 Holy Burst Bastard Sword of Pure Good..45K platz.. that might not actually qualify as a BB, but I have used it on Harry a lot, works darn fine if ya ask me, though I haven't tried it since the update.
+4 Holy Burst Khopesh of Pure Good ...paid about 125K plats for that one.

Keep in mind though, I troll the AH, looking for items that are WAY cheaper than they should be.
I am still looking to replace all my Bastard Swords with comparable Khopeshes, but evidently, other players have seen fit to keep the really awesome khopeshes for themselves. Greedy bastages!

My shintao iii monk bought a set of +3 Holy Handwraps of Greater Lawful Outsider Bane. Quite nice, plus these actually work...

None of my characters had anything "exceptional". My Elf Tempest Ranger (before I TR'd him) bought a +3 MoPG Scimi for something like 100KPP, and pulled a +5 Metalline Silver of Pure Good Scimi from one of the Vale quests. He also pulled TWO +5 MoPG Daxes that he gave to my Dwarf Ranger, so the Dwarf never had to spend a dime

(Since crafting started, I've made a +3 Holy Silver Daxe of Lawful Outsider Bane, and will be adding the same to that Silver Scimi once he's high enough level to start beating on Harry again )

DR breaking weapons are getting lower and lower prices due to all these new crafting systems. Recently I got a +5 Silver Kopesh of Pure Good for miserable 50k. Less popular weapons such as bastard swords and dwarven axes are now dirty cheap (long ago I gave one large sulfuruous stone for a +2 Silver Holy Burst Bastard Sword of Pure Good, now i could probably get it for much much less) and less than 30k for a usual +4 metalline of pure good bastard sword... got a couple of dwarven beaters (metalline + righteous which is even better since no UMD) +3 for miserable 7k each.

Conclusion, all crafting that was introduce after Shroud has done a great deal for less fortunate people. Now everyone can buy a ordinary BB which are basicly weaker but 50x cheaper and I'm not exaggerating.

+5 Supreme Tyrant Green Steel Rapier of Mineral (26.08 DPA)
+3 Vicious Silver Bastard Sword of Pure Good ML8 (24.48 DPA)
+4 Metalline Bastard Sword of Lawful Outsider Bane ML14 (for 20 Pally, 24.15 DPA)
+3 Holy Cold Iron Khopesh of Enfeebling ML12 (22.93 DPA)
+5 Holy Cold Iron Short Sword of Maiming RR Human ML12 (21.50 DPA)

etc.

compare to this was my low benchmark for a 'quality boss beater':
+5 Metalline Dwarven Axe of Pure Good ML14 (19.83 DPA)


Note my DPA calculations all assume a STR mod of 6 (because that's what my rogue has), 50% fort on the boss, and that you hit on 2 or better.

My rogue actually uses for Shroud: MinII Rapier + Epic Cutthroat's Smallblade (even though it doesn't bypass DR, I think the +6% main-hand Doublestrike, Slicing, Bleed, and Corrosive Salt make up enough).

FYI, using my same calculations, here are the best theoretical Cannith bossbeaters:

TWF:
+5 Holy Silver Bastard Sword of Greater Lawful Outsider Bane ML20 (37.13 DPA)

Prior to the update I used LitII for BBs.
Prior to that I used Pos/Pos warhammers
Prior to that I used crummy BBs.
Prior to that I used a +1 metaline flametouched iron pickaxe of crippling. It got alot of laughs so I kept it for a while for humor. Not sure what happened to it though, I probably melted it down for crafting..

Khyber, but I sold a +5 Holy Silver Khopesh of Pure Good for 3 FRDS a while back. That was basically the AH plat cap at the time (2m PP)
