Default Good ideea to use cavalery plate?

Stats look really good on the epic t2 for a rogue. Would I miss anything else by wearing it beside the lack of stealth?

IDK would you miss evasion? Because its plate mail - as in medium armor so evasion will not work. Now that you know the question is will you miss it?

Your Evasion will not work, you need to wear light armor, Calvary Plate is medium armor.
Get the Epic Duelist Leathers, they are perfect for a Rogue or any Evasion toon.

I can see the calvary plate being useful in those few situations where superior false life and demonic shield are better than evasion. (The 2 orthon fights at chronoscope are a good example).

Don't do it on a pure rogue, using armor without proficiency will bork your to-hit.

In English, we have two similar words with radically different meanings:

    Calvary

    Cavalry

The armor in question uses the second word; it is the Epic Cavalry Plate (though, personally, I call them my Epic Sashimi Pants, because the things on my thighs look just like something I would get at a sushi bar).

It's a reasonable mistake. I myself made the same mistake back in the day, too. Now please stop making it.

Regarding rogues wearing the Epic Sashimi Pants, yeah, you lose Evasion. Don't bother getting them unless you know you'll remember to swap them on and off to match whether you need Evasion for a given fight.

Adding to what Superspeed said, Plate Armor is heavy, not medium. The Sashimi Pants are medium, because they're also Mithral: That makes it one category lighter (heavy plate + mithral = medium mithral plate).

Starting at lvl 16 version it is mithral plate armor so medium armor. It is a great armor for quite a lot of builds but losing evasion is not worth it.
