Angel of Vengeance Archon - How exactly does temporary spell buffs affect it?

From what I understand the Archon gets the damage bonuses from empower and maximize, the FvS smithing line and the item bonus he is using, I'm a little confused on how the items affect it. My question is if I cast a 3 minute buff that adds 75% damage and Summon the Archon, will it stay with the 75% until it dies? or the archon only receives the bonus until the 3 minutes FvS has it?

What ever your FvS has is what what the Archon has as it is summoned it will last for 5 minutes.

If you are spell frienzied so is the Archon for the 5 minutes of its short life.

As far as I can tell, the archon is NOT effected by Maximize/Empower. Yes, using a clickie does keep it powered up for the 5 minute duration.

I believe the damage calc is a bit wonky compared to spells, and I couldn't figure it out exactly. What I know for sure is that it isn't affected by empower/maximize. It is effected by crits, potency or brilliance, though the exact amount I am not sure of.

It is not affected by metamagic feats or spell empowering clickies or the like.

It may use enhancements.

Didn't know that the Archon didn't get affected by empower and maximize, was it always this way?

It does use enhancements, it says so on the prestige class. It says nothing about metamagics or empowering clickies.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen it affected by maximize or empower. Even if it doesn't say it is affected by clickies, they still add to your total +light damage number. So, grab the smiting line and a sup. Brilliance 5 clickie and just activate it before summoning the archon. Throw in arcane lore and the smiting crit enhancements to taste.
