Last post I saw was that it was fixed and in QA waiting for the marketing department to give them the date for the hotfix to go live. Why the marketing department sets the date is a mystery to me.

After all, why wouldn't someone read 32 pages of a thread on the off chance a dev posted in it, right?

Turbine did not make it a priority to get the Cove in game in working condition. Turbine did not make it a priority to explain why - for instance, people in Argo were LFM-claiming that it was VIPs only, and no one could gainsay them. Turbine did not make it a priority to keep people updated in a reasonably accessible manner. The players are not to blame for any of this.

Posting in a relevant thread is all that Turbine needs to do to let people know. The Dev Tracker is there for a reason. It takes literally seconds to browse through the recent posts, find one in a thread related to your interest (like "Temporary Event Closure: Euphonia's Challenge - Treasure of the Crystal Cove") and read what it says. Not spending literal seconds to look for something in the appropriate manner is, in fact, the fault of the forum-going players.

You don't need to read 32 pages of the thread. That's why they invented a dev tracker, so you could go straight to the posts from devs and get updated information easily.

That and the thread is only 7 pages long with sane forum settings.

And for you - check the Dev Tracker like the rest of us, and you don't look through 32 pages of junk.

What do I care when your post was from exactly? The cove is back tomorrow, that's why I said the cove is back tomorrow.

The notion that customers ought to come to the forums and pore over any search is absurd. It should not be a question, it should be a matter publicly and prominently stated.

For me, I don't use the trackers or pore over any threads. I just play the game and assume the worst whenever Turbine uses the cloak of nunyo bidness. It is a policy that has left me in good stead with regards to leisure enjoyment and empirical accuracy.

    Can't argue with that.
