That run was awesome. Smoothest I've had in a while. Talked to one of our healers in there about it later and they said they didn't have to heal the tank once. How does that build do in Master Artificer and LoB? Seems the high HP, high-heal amp tank is almost a requirement in those two. This looks amazing. :-)

How does one get extra hp from negative lvl penalty?

Since it's permanent effect as tomes so I would consider it un-buffed .

Yes, as toughness doesn't count as fighter bonus feat, and only human can take 8 toughness feat.

Just to comment on the above.

Madstone is not reliable for an SD/DoS. You can activate it and then go into stance but it will not proc while in stance so you would have to leave stance activate another set then go back into stance.

For theoretical purposes you could go out to those famous rats in the vale and wait for it to proc then go into stance but in real time it does not work as well.

The role of AMAZING TANK! Seriously, that was the smoothest and easiest part 3 of ToD I've had in a long while. I pug almost everything and this was a very nice change from my normal harrying ToD runs.

Anyways, I <3 other melees who value toughness as much as I do. HEE HEE!

I was wondering the same thing, also how does one produce enough "Threat" to actually tank?

Just because you have the HP doesn't mean your instantly the "target" of the boss and can generate enough threat to hold aggro.

meh...if youre a tank, only thing you have to worry is hate, not hp....youll be the guy that holds the big bad boss, others job is to just autoattack and for trash there are instakillers...its all cool as I see it
