    Default Looking for a build

I'm looking for a build to work towards for my melee char. Currently its a first life pally drow built for dps. How many past lives the build needs/should have/requires doesnt matter to me, nor does gear too much. I'm ether looking for something that can tank while doing ok damage, or something that does good damage while being durable. My restrictions are no half-elf/orc, and staying twf (sorry if that wasnt clear). Currently I dont own monk, though I may be getting it at some point in the future. I'm not horribly experienced with melees, so I'm open to suggestions.

The things I was considering where 20 paladin w/ chaosblades (partly cause I pulled on today on her) which if I manage to make epic could break devil dr (but Im not sure how much the neg level from them would hurt), 12 paladin 6 fighter 2 rogue or 12 fighter 6 paladin 2 rogue (rogue probably replaced with monk if I got it, at least if i was going for a tank build, rogue may be better for dps with SA. hmm though rogue could give full umd ranks.) mixing up kensai/DoS or SD/KotC.

Any suggestions are welcome, esp from people with experience in similar builds.

As a drow, rapiers could be a good choice. You likely already know, but still, racial bonus' and the wide crit range of the rapier makes it a good weapon for divine sacrifice and smite.

And it sounds like you want to do a 'deep splash', but if you have 19 levels of paladin, drow starting charisma makes it easy to get divine might 4, for +8 to damage. On other races its hard to find the stat points to do this without using lvl up points.

And, I don't know if you said you didnt want to twf? Not sure if thats what you meant, but, as much as it is a strain on the stats, paladin damage add abilities gain more from twf than thf because they apply as a static bonus to both weapons (or so Ive heard).

I meant that I want to stick with twf, sorry if that wasnt clear. Anyway, Ive got 14 paladin levels on it atm, and dont plan to multiclass this life. I am probably going to do a tr or three on this char when I can/when my wiz is working on raid completions, so I was looking for suggestions on what I should be working towards for a next/future/final life.

Cool, well, like I said, if it appeals to you, twf with rapiers and the drow enhancement line to buff up the damage has good synergy with divine sacrifice's improved crit multiplier and exalted smites crit range and multiplier.
