George Lucas is going to the 7th circle of hell for those prequels. I can't even enjoy the original trilogy any more because of them.

No. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but I have zero interest in ever playing another MMO. Sometimes I feel like playing DDO was a mistake too, but I just can't bring myself to quit... Ha.

Playing Old Republic at PAX twisted it.


Even if OR goes F2P it wouldn't be worth the price to play it. Bioware has had it's first major misstep, imho.

Ill be waiting a few months. The first week especially at that time of year, I want no part of waiting to log in, waiting to download patch after patch, balance changes, possible server crashes.

I'm going, but maybe not right away. I do plan to cancel my ddo sub for awhile and transfer the $ to SW:toR...but I will likely end up back here.

Not even mildly interested the noncombat stuff (crafting and such ) seems ok but the combat looks just as boring as wow's and the rest of the crowds.

And ddo combat is so much more exciting.

I'm going. I will still have all my stuff here, premium style waiting for me.

The game is indeed styled after "main stream" MMos. Bioware wanted something instantly recognizable.

However I am not so stuck on DDO that I can't enjoy it. I do Enjoy WoW to some extent, but I hate its community.

I think that SWTOR will be an MMO that I can really jive with, I love biowares storytelling. I enjoy Star Wars.

George Lucas needs to retire and go to some private island. Then it needs an Imperial Agent to call in an Orbital Strike.

Let the fans write the story. That's what is happening with SWTOR, and I'm quite frankly excited about it.

This will pull out the knife, heal the wound with some super Jedi mind trickery and kiss the boo-boo better.

All those who remember Star Wars™ fondly should see it. It's a bit of a pain to get but well worth the effort. It truly reaffirmed my wonder with the original.

It's much better than any other MMO and doesn't work the same and if you don't know that then you haven't been playing? Or are you just trying to cause trouble
