VoD - Barbarian Style (Video)

Wanted to do a new solo vid on my latest half orc build. So I choose VoD. Check it out:
1080p, ultra high quality as always

Now this was my first attempt at it, and it didn't end well. But I think it's still a good video to showcase the strengths (and weaknesses) of the solo barbarian.

This is pretty much the maximum limits of what you can do solo on one. I think the raid is beatable solo by a regular no ac, no magic, no umd straight barbarian, but will take practice and a lot of luck. Few mistakes there and I could of optimized my gear layout better for it.

But yea, whats relatively easy for a maxxed-gear favored soul (imo its easy for my poorly geared fvs) is extremely challenging for a maxxed-gear bbn. And harder raids like Shroud, ToD, Epic raids are something that I don't ever see a straight bbn doing without drastic changes to the game.

I'm not much of a solo player, so dunno when I will try again. Probably will do some more full raidgroup videos soon, subscribe and stay tuned.

Pity I didn't get to see you die though...

Sure ac builds and casters have solo'd this...but that is a benefit of having less dps and better survivability.
I can't see a pure barbarian ever soloing VoD, especially now. SF pots and Curse pots are on the same 3sec timer and once you get devils and sulu you are basically screwed.

Maybe break out a Whilrwind for the trash? Some cc and perma blur.

Yea always frusterating when the biggest thing holding me back is technically a bug..

Anyone who doesn't rage can use a curse clicky pot, then instantly chug a SF pot, as they are on seperate timers..

Barbarian.. Nope. Limited due to bugs that been around for 5 years.. 5 freakin years. And not since game launch - POST Launch, which makes it that much more frusterating, as they could do such a simple copy and paste of the lesser restore pot code (which has funnel tech and work while raged) yet dont care enough to.

Sadly due to this I might have to do it unraged and just use frenzy...

My bbn can get 70+ AC (he actaully has all the gear for it, even titan ring) and do it that way too.. But wheres the fun in that.

My friend has a maxed barb and I tell him he needs a chattering ring next.

Just to be funny you need to get a screenshot with your AC as high as possible, if you can get to 70 you might be able to get buffed up to 80. it might make people's heads explode.

lol yea ill do more crazy screen shots.

90+ AC bbn (80s for noobs, bbn actaul max potential burst nearly matches ftr nearly, as improved uncanny dodge = 6 ac, stalwart bonuses ~6, and surpasses paladin, since i can get there aura and they cant get my dodge)
~1200+ hp (different char i got planed)

tho i think i wanna do a -30 AC shot first. lower AC is way cooler.

slow is not the barbarian way. everyone and there mom has done it the slow way, so thats no fun. these arbitrary kinda vids have to show something un explorerd, else its silly.

Meh, doing this sorta thing on an AC toon doesn't qualify as a "melee" solo in my book.

Screw AC- brute force it!
