Verify Rare Sands of Menechtarun

Can someone please verify that the rare Thumok the Mad in Sands of Menechtarum is spawning ? I either am having the worst luck or as I am beginning to believe it is not working at all.

needed 15 runs to find him last life on my monk. usually i don't have that bad luck on him. however, he exists ;-)

Just saw him today, actually.

He does spawn, you must just be unlucky. Make sure you are checking the right spot for him...

Got him today on only my second attempt. Having less luck on getting Bloodstone drops however

I've never seen the Bloodstone drop. On any of my 4 characters. Ever (soloing or in groups.)

I HAVE gotten 2 Rings of Spell Storing, though.

been farming with a couple of toons for a year plus have seen 2 drop. 1 guildies first run and anothers was only like his 5th.
Did pull a RoSS on my second.

back on topic,
"the mad" does seem to be a rare-er spawn than the others from my experience.

I usually get ransack on his chest and most of the Gnolls/Undead Rare Chests as I am doing solo runs while doing laundry. Running desert for junk loot to deconstruct since laundry sometimes take me away from the game and I don't like making the party wait while I doing it.

I don't know how many times I re-ran looking for that one last rare yesterday I needed. It was enough that I was able to ransack Thirsty if that gives you any idea. This morning the very first run, he was up. Thanks guys for letting me know he was still spawning because I don't think I would have made the run again.
