After completting ToD countless time today i just got the good dose of humility i needed!
The leader told me of his fear and i just told him not to worry!

Well after i big 15 secondes in part 2 i just got violated!

what changed actualy and how to respond to it?

You sure about this? I've tanked shadows on my human sorc (Fireshield, 45% cold resist Greensteel) by just spamming "prot cold" and chugging CSW pots with high healing amp (the majority of the time I ask a healer to also throw spot heals to be on the safe side, however). I didn't notice a change pre u11 or post u11.

You sure you used "Fireshield Hot"?

How much damage u took from hit?

tanking 1 hour ago, human PM, 600hp.. only cold res and fire shield.. i havent seen any changes, after u11

The biggest problem we've been seeing lately with shadows with tanking isn't that they hit any harder
(I tank on a 480hp wizard out of form with a t2 cold absorb shroud item and heal with silver flame pots)
but that they tend to love to bypass firewalls. The current theory is that they have evasion and this manage
to not get hit on that pass through tick or don't get hit for enough to establish aggro. I tend to use ice storm
now and always add a cloudkill on the stairs if you can manage a cloudkill on the boss + icestorm that might
help as well.

I use a solid fog on the boss.. miss chance and aggro xD

I tank them at the foot of the stairs on my bard.
Greensteel cold resist weapon
fireshield hot from scrolls
smurf potion
robe with medium guild slot with cold resist crystal
(don't really need all of that)

mind fog/glitterdust for aggro (3 locations: left of stairs, right of stairs, just in front of boss)

Haven't seen any change before/after U11, except the lag has been worse. Had the 2nd set of Shadows fail to spawn-in until after the boss was dead, so the group had fun killing those 2 by hand.

Fairly sure solid fog's miss chance doesn't work on bosses.
Cloudkill works, however.

I eard that if youre not running away from the shadows but stay still they barely hit you!

The cold damage aura around the shadows hits you on entering, and then every few seconds you are inside. if you don't move, you take much less damage.
