Default What are you liking the most about the bravery bonus?

Although the bonus is yummy, what I'm liking is that before on my TRs and toons it was the old grind certain quests to maxamize xp per min but now I see myself going into quests I usually don't run on elite jsut for the one time bonus. It has made me rediscover quests and actully run some quests I had never bothered running before. So a little less farming and a bit more exploring for me.

I like all the dying I do by tackling elite quests when I'm 1 under level instead of 1 over

Incentive to stay/become VIP. But then it only really applies if you plan to TR all the time or get to level 20 before your XP pot runs out.

I agree with the OP. I have never seen as many LFMs for threnal in the last 3 years as I do now.

It is a great incentive to push for elite all the way, only running once, and doing everything you can. If you start from korthos, by the time you get to the harbor, you will have a full streak. That is 150% extra exp per quest (80 for elite, 20 for first time on elite, and 50 from the streak). If you do everything right in a quest, you get at least 60% more, so it pushes the value to 210%. If you have anything that adds to it, it just makes it all the more grand.

So yeah, HUGE motivator to play elite only and do things once.

Makes me eventually maximize favor... while i was often ending my TR2+ with barely 1k favor.
Though i think they should make a special rule for the raid. Cause i dont think MANY people can handle new elite ToD... and running it would break yer streak. I like to start raiding at 17 so i kinda dislike it for that part of my leveling but otherwise it's stoater. And as Seskie said, i discovered new quests that i actually never ever ran before.
Really a good idea, and i REALLY REALLY appreciate the fact that they introduced the hard opening (TR1) and elite opening (TR2) to F2P people.

Besides the additional xp i really like the challenge of elite-dungeons one level below me to grind them on normal afterwards. Also it makes the less run quests more interesting and some quests i even haven't seen much elite groups before (like the dq-preraid on level). But since some pugs on elite are rare, like von5, i had to skip this quest completely (though i didn't really need it) - in my opinion elite streaks shouldn't be ended by a single run without elite but the counter should just be lowered by 5 or 10 or something.

My favorite part of it is that they typical TR now runs lots of elite quests in the level 1-16 range where before they mostly just grinded out normal runs of the same quests.

Much more fun in my opinion as it is both more challenging and way more variety.

    Not quite useful IMO.
The conventional method still gives better XP/min above certain levels, espcially for those quests you need to ransack normal. Therefore argurably bravery does not increase levelling efficiency at all.

So far, it has a thumbs up from me. From levels 1-10 I have only repeated Info is Key, Ringleader and Tangleroot. (For the runearm) I have a feeling that there will still be some repetition for stuff like Shadow Crypt so I can bank a level for later. But, it’s still much better than it was.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

I like that I had my fifth bag slot by level 4 on my TR.

I had always just farmed normal on certain quests and then maybe later if I needed xp would do hard/elite. That would get my fourth bag. Eventually around level 8 or 9 when I was bored I would go back run a few quests on Elite to get the last bag.

The xp is awesome all the way up the levels and favor along with it.
