If i were to multiclass lets say an artificer/wizard how would the caster level be determined?
Is it only wizard levels apply to wizard spells, or since the arty is a caster with int based spells would they stack to determine spell duration, damage, etc?

Only wizard levels apply to wizard spells. I can't speak to artificer from personal experience, but I presume they work the same.
