    Default Whats Better Halfing Monk Or Half Orc

    I'm A Level 13 Halfing Shintao Monk And In My Next Life I'm Thinking Of Making A Dex-Based Monk But I Don't What Race Should I Be Halfing Or Half-Orc

    Both are very viable as a dex based Monk...

    And Offer their own advantages...

    With the Half-Orcs str bonus, the cost of pulling the points away from str would be lessened, thereby making it easier to go dex based.

    But I think you may want to go Halfling...

    They get a Dextery enhancement line, ac bonus for size
    And access to the Healing Dragon marks...

    That coupled with the light path, and Fire stance
    can make them pretty tough.

    I would also check out Sig Treant's request a build thread.

    There are some great build suggestion's there...

    One of them is the Rockin Robin build (spelling?)
    Which is considered one of the best...

    I watched it happen with my niece... She is a much brighter, and nicer person now...
