How to pike Reaver's in U11

Step 1. Put up a LFM for elite Reaver's. Call him Sor-jek as often as possible
Step 2. As each person joins start speaking of DOOOOooomM!11!!!!! He has SOOO many hps and is SOOO tough
Step 3. Ask if someone wants to tank since your hps are MUCH too low to tank Reaver now
Step 4. Find someone to do puzzle since there are too many things to keep track of now
Step 5. Now that they are motivated to prove you wrong or not screw up, pike as usual while everyone else does your work for you

No, that's the method my Cleric used on his 20th tonight

Worked just fine, except some fool guildie insisted on flying up and letting me out of the penalty box so I would actually have to heal somebody before it was over...

My solution to that is Grease + Globe of Invulnerability. Bonus points if you have the Kundarak Delving boots and they don't...

lol, i think i totally saw the "get killed and pike" method today capped FvS ate it almost right away, it was very suspicious at the speed and no attempt to heal, combined with no complaints.

however i got in at level 13 on my FvS and ended up healing the tank, as the 3 other healers (2 clerics and the aformentioned FvS) all died. also flew up and got the lever, the madstone dropped too, sad for me though, a 2HF level 20 paladin beat me on the roll

You realize Madstonr Rage makes you unable to cast any spell? And they have a hidden attribute where the madstone rage can trigger on being hit while wearing them?

Fail a disintegrate and you'll be down 500ish HP. My capped FvS gets one-shotted by that more than I care to admit.

Does the disintegrate happen often though? I've completed Reaver's Fate 4 times since the change (twice on my wiz, twice on my cleric) and I don't remember ever seeing someone drop 500 hp in one go.
Either no one rolled a 1 or he uses disintegrate very rarely.

Its pretty rare - 4-5 a run on average and if everyone is mobile its easily dodgable. I was soloing on my FvS on elite and rolled ones on my two attempts.(was kiting ele's through BB and not paying attention to his casting)

Disintegrate 4-6 times per run from what I've seen. It's dodgeable if you see it coming, but sometimes he will fire it off when you can't move as easily (ie when you have Fly).

I've only seen one person insta-killed by it, a WF Sorc who was killing off the ele's harassing the tank. He got hit for 487.

Wait....I missed the part of why any FvS with spell points would actually wear Madstone boots.....

Then you come back to find that they have pulled the lever letting you out and some angry team mate is damanding to know why you didnt take the raise?
