What's the no-fail Intimidate mark for the Lord of Blades on epic?

It's in the low to mid 80s, but because of darn real life we didn't have our intimidaters on our completion run to hammer out the exact number. Will update when we find it.

83-84 would be my best guess. I was running 73 most of the time as I am still missing a bit of gear to get my 80+ and I would land about 50%.

It is really high though and takes a pretty good effort to reach. It is not needed but can be pretty valuable when he aggro swaps after a jump or just to tank swap if needed.

It's over 81. Highest fail I can remember seeing was on an 8. 69+8=77 +4 size bonus equals 81.

That being said unlike most other raid bosses this one can be debuffed a bit. Have a palemaster throw bestow curse for -4 and someone else crushing despair for another -2.

This can also help if ac tanking lower difficulties quite a bit.

Yeah always figured that hard was possible to ac tank but requires a ton of coordination and super high ac. Normal does not require much of a tank so ac tank or not really does not matter. Hard will eventually be the same way mind you it really is the melee out there that take awhile to figure out the raid. Elite big ramp up from hard and epic well another decent ramp up from elite, but what have you.

I ac tanked hard the first day it released with none of the above debuffs and 92 ac. They dropped the values significantly from what my testing on lammania showed.

Did this help you avoid any of the big hits or was it just the small ones?

Does shield blocking stop that 'Superman' strike at all?

I had 73 intim last night and seemed to get him any time I tried except when he ran out of range. Certainly possible I got lucky, and granted things are pretty crazy on epic and conducting tests will at best be suspect as the tank or off tank has a lot to concentrate on.

Its 82-84 minimum. I remember an 81 and79 (sheet) failing on epic. Will try for an exact number in a day or so. Altho I am all for trying to figure out the exact number...missing an intim at a crucial time can turn that rollercoaster of a quest pretty sour fast so il do my best lol.

Pro tip: turn up ur ingame audio to telegraph the thunderpunch. I can nearly block it every time when tanking allowing for more sustained dps.

Yeah thunderpunch is easily blocked preventing that move. It's harder with dot's running due to the extra noise/visual effects. One of the reason we stopped dotting most of the time. Mana consumption and aggro control after reset being the others.
