I'm sure this is posted somewhere, but i am not good at finding things sometimes.

What is better for non end game, min2 or lit2

The only time you want to go with min II is against targets immune to electric damage, of which there are very few, or bosses with DR that lit II wont bypass. The DR has to be fairly high though, so bosses on hard/elite usually, to beat the extra damage of lightening strikes from lit IIs.

The allure of Lit 2 is Lightning Strike, a rare (~1.5%) process that does a lot (~600) of damage.

The allure of Min 2 is Metalline, which when combined with Holy or Good Burst allows you to bypass almost any DR. Most important DRs are in late-game to end-game, so if you aren't concerned with that Lit 2 is the clear answer. Additionally, Cannith crafting offers superior weapons to the Min 2 at its purpose of bypassing DR.
