Red face Apologies to VoD group

I've now failed to keep a VoD party alive twice in a row. Izaak is my first capped character and I've had fun playing him. The other night on my first VoD attempt I drank all my pots, just now on my 2nd run I used 60 scrolls and the one pot I'd got since, lol. Apologies to all, it seemed a good group but I couldn't cut the mustard.

I'm rage-TR'ing Izaak, so there's little chance of another failure very soon.

Major kudos to Miahoo who's managed to solo heal an elite VoD. I feel very small right now.

i would wait a bit before making the move to tr your toon. everyone who has healed VoD or another high level raids has experienced the same thing.

The first time i every went in there i was like "there is no way I will ever complete this raid". With a little bit of experience, it does get easier to run as a healer. Stick with it and you might just suprise yourself.

    Thumbs up

Izaak, I was there for your first and 2nd and it wasn't your fault.

There were a lot of things that could have been better, it's a 12 man raid group, not just you. It's easy to blame yourself as a cleric if things go south, I have one too I know. The lag was bad, I lost aggro when I died, lots of things went wrong.

That's a tough quest to heal. You did your best and you did good, so don't blame yourself.

It's rarely the healer's fault. Don't blame yourself.

The group in my solo heal run were solid. I'll never offer myself to solo heal a pug. Even on normal! So don't "feel small" with yourself

On elite or any setting for that matter it isn't all on the healer/healers those being healed should do their part as well drink pots or other things to help

I was in your party. You did nothing wrong.

Have you noticed all the lag threads? Blame that. Before U11 VoD did not lag like this.

Wipes happen. We blame the lag and we move on

It may be the right choice to TR. In the upcoming raids it seems like it will be expensive to play healers. I'm also considering a TR for both of my capped divines. Though healers may be hard to come by...

Nah, I'll wait and see... All I play are divines....

    Default What everyone else said.

I won't run a VoD again until the attack issue is solved. The melee are attacking the mobs and only after 3-4 (more?) swings will they do damage. Mob then teleports causing the whole 3-4 swings of no damage to occur again. Rinse/repeat/bang head on desk.

The end "holy bat lag" doesnt help either.

Thanks everyone. It was basically the last drop for me, there had been various factors. In a nutshell being capped feels high pressure and grindy to me right now. I'd been preparing slowly for TR but decided to buy the heart and do it sooner. It's back to Korthos after a bit of CC. Actually looking forward to it, I love the low-mid levels.

Yeah, so many pots and scrolls just to wipe twice - this played a lot into my decision.

Yeah this happened in this group after I had died and was trying to get aggro back, guy was moving around, couple that with the lag and to hit issues and I couldnt' for the life of me hit him enough to get aggro back. Was ridiculous.
