WTB specific elven chainmail

Yeah, this is nice as well.

I should bug one of my guild mates. He got an elven chain drop a couple of days ago and has yet to show it off. Curious to see if it is anywhere as nice as these.

how would you rate this one ? I always kept it because i thought it looked pretty . Looks even better with the big top hat.. but couldn't find that one .

That appears to be the Desecrated Leathers with a lavendar chest piece. Its quite nice. I've bought and sold over 30 suits of elven chainmail looking for my perfect one but have yet to have picked up a set with the particular style you have posted.

To date I have had 5 distinct elven chainmail styles in a variety of colors pass through my inventory they are:
1. small scale style (in the top image I posted)
2. large scale style (2nd pic posted)
3. chainmail with fabric collar and skull neckpiece
4. chainmail with coin-like chest piece and accessories
5. plain chainmail with leather straps

There could of course be many other styles I have yet to come across, and I have never gotten elven chainmail that resembled your image.

This is the one that I get the most. Course I haven't been doing a lot of hunting, more looking for better looking mithral plate at the moment, but definitely going to keep an eye out for some better suites of elven chain as well.

Well that would be why I haven't seen it. i don't really look at regular chain at all. Oddly enough the elven chainmail style i pick up the most often seems to be the coin-covered style which to me looks very masculine even on a female character.

Just now noticed: It has little bows!

There is nothing in Cannith Crafting that "repairs" permanent damage to an item... however, if enough total +'s worth of enchantments are placed on an item ...some small permanent damage can become negligible because each + adds some durability to an item. Deconstructing the item back to base removes this added durability.

Just now noticed: It has little bows!

After examining this larger and better lit image:

I'm not sure I'd keep and use this on my alts. Its just too mismatched for me. Even the one pictured on the female alt thats lavender/violet has the golden bib-thing with pink or mauve bows add to that the pale ochre pauldron on the left arm and the results are ....well...kind of a punk look from the 80's. The top hat really adds the finishing touch. Although, I'd luv to see someone running around in that with BIG hair.

How many bumps am i allowed to keep this thread on or close to the front page of the marketplace forum? I'd like to keep it up there because I have yet to get my perfect elven chain.

I guess I could always post a new thread titled - WANTED : Perfect Elven Chain. Then (now that i can use images) post the image in the center like a wanted poster and put my reward price at the bottom. That would be cute and might spark more interest.

I think I just got a suit of this over the weekend. It was either from running Hound or VoD, probably VoD.

I'll screenshot it when I get home tonight. It's not 100%, but I think it's close, already disjunctioned it and everything, plus it was BtA when I got it.

Was kinda shocked when I tried it on.

Originally a Pure Ranger in my first life, i wore only Elven. It wasnt the best. Mithral Chain has higher Dex, and Adam CHain has the DR. But Elven Chainmail is by far the prettiest stock armor in the game. I started dealing in them once i gained money. Still do. I've seen the one your looking for from time to time. Cant say it is common. I have that version in light green and white scales, bound. Being a gurl, ive never cared much for any shade of the blue and sold them rather cheaply, sorry. I will keep an eye out for you for a while. Good luck.

I hate you. If it weren't BTA you could expect my rogue to sneak up on you in a dark alley, sap you on the back of the head and take the clothes right off of your back. =P (Just so everyone knows this is a joke!)

Okay I know I haven't posted in awhile... but I am still trying to get the PERFECT elven chainmail (pictured above). I had largely given up because i keep buying from AH or vendors and the colors are almost always green or orange. Ironically, yesterday (Monday, February 27) I saw two different ppl on Thelanis wearing the PERFECT elven chainmail. The first was unwilling to sell (she thought it was great too), the second had already crafted on it so it was bound.

So please if you have this in your inventory unbound or you come across it while adventuring please send me a forum message or send a tell or ingame mail to either my main Aelonwy or my hagglebard Aelyrra.
