Problems completing a True Reincarnation

I am having problems with a True Reincarnation. I spoke to Kruz with the True Heart in my inventory. I chose true reincarnation, got the explanation and logged out. When I try to click on the gold 'REINCARNATE' button next to my character name, I get the following message box:

'This character currently has enough XP to advance one or more levels. You must reenter the game and level up at a class trainer before you can reincarnate.'

I'm level 20, obviously. I tried speaking to the trainers for each of my classes, just to see if it would help, but nothing changed. I'm assuming a bug, but if there's some additional step I need to take I'm happy to do it.

Hi. I feel your pain. In August I had the same problem, sent tickets several times to no avail. I STILL have my char waiting for a fix which no1 really cares to fix. I hope you have better luck than me as I stopped playing due to this error... Still hoping they finally listen and fix this error.

True Reincarnation error the game is telling me that i have xp that i need to use. . . I have been lvl 20 on this character for a year and i have no xp i have talked to my character trainer and i have nothing left to do.

09/17/11 05:02 PM I talked to the Cleric Trainer and it says that i dont have any action points to spend. So i said i want to advance to the next lvl as a cleric. It said " i cannot train you further. You have reached lvl cap. I am not sure what else there is to do.
09/13/11 06:15 PM i went to the npc Kruz after i bought my druatic heart of wood and i said yes i want to True Reincarnate Bluefaires, which is my lvl 20 cleric. She has been lvl 20 for a year now. i logged out because that is what it says to do. i click on the True Reincarnation icon type in the name Bluefaires and it tells me " This character currently has enough XP to advance one or more lvls. You must reenter the game and lvl up at a class trainer before you Reincarnate." I don't see how that is being that my character is lvl 20. i hope this helps and if there are any further questions please feel free to ask.

Azekeal, posting chat transcripts of Turbine employees is a CoC violation as far as I know. You should at least remove the name.

I wanted to provide an update to anyone who might have read this and had the same problem. My problem has now been solved. I filed a ticket for support in game a few weeks ago, and earlier tonight I was contacted while playing by a GM. He/She said that the problem would be fixed with a few minutes of work, and 4-5 minutes later notified me that I should now be able to TR. I logged out and checked, and it's now working.

So, if anyone has had this same problem, file a support ticket in-game, it seems to be a fixable problem. I hadn't been online very much since filing the ticket, and I thought it was a bit of a coincidence that I was contacted shortly after logging on tonight. I suppose it's possible that you need to be online for them to contact you and fix the problem.
