yah same, saw one dropped last night in eDA
just one thing, it's dropped in eDA, and has a banishing properties
with this theme, shall i assume it to be some kind of end game, anti-outsider weapon?
but the fire dmg is really an anti-climax, maybe only elementals/merphits/and that render....but they are kinda rare aren't they

I hope you didn't let that Holy Aura Scroll rot in the chest :/
Collecting Holy Aura Scrolls - Please mail to Surare, or the cursed Illithids will eat my brains.
Well once you hit 16 monk, adamantine studded handwraps aren't as useful.
Cool runearm, but the fire doesn't make much sense to me.
should work on demons, various fiendish creatures to varying degrees, non-fire elementals, non-fire mephits, tharaak hounds, many beholders, eladrin (in running with the devils), maruts (not sure, they might have some resistance) and inevitables in general, non-red abishai (including the conjoined devastator when it isn't burninating), quori of all varieties (to varying degrees, some have fire resistance, some even have absorption), djinn, celestial creatures of all varieties, many tieflings, and possibly a few other creatures that i've missed.
some might be fire-resistant, but when you're dishing out a big blast of fire every so often, that helps a lot. is it useful against all (or even the most common) extraplanar enemy types? ok, no it isn't. is it useful against a lot of extraplanar creatures? yes it is.
People take more than 8 levels in the Monk class these days?
(Joking, but Kensai 2 has such incredible synergy with unarmed combat).
Back on topic, I like it. A good number of outsiders aren't immune to fire. Or at least, I like it if it adds full Banishing to weapons. If it doesn't add the 4d6 damage, then it's just OK.
I don't have a zerging problem.
I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

I think that most of the mobs in the new house C stuff are damaged by fire (not the goloems of course, but the WF), and in epics quite a few mobs take fire damage. Not that fire is the best way to go for all content or anything, but I can see some use for this.

O.o Maybe you will be able to give it an epic upgrade later on. The runearms all are named, so I don't see why ones that drop in quest like eDA, won't be upgradable in the future.
