    Default Miserys peak on epic

i was just doing myseris peak with my new artificer, and the tough occured to me, that you could make the quest able to be run on epic, but instead of the same quest, just harder, you could make the epic party be the "other" party, the one that fights the dragon, and helps the lowby party

just i toughm dont know if someone already said something similar, but maybe it was worth posting :P

    cheers

The 'other' party doesn't really kill the Dragon, but rather distract it so you can move deeper into the tunnels?

So you're suggesting that epic mode, we go in, annoy the dragon, then run to a safe spot with Lars?

That would definitely be an interesting change of pace.

What would be hilarious (and overly clever) is a dungeon that requires both level 1 and level 20 players to work together in a split dungeon...

Interesting new idea for a raid:

One team of 6 people, comprised of, say, levels 4-6, and another team comprised of level 20's. The low level team would have to complete their quest to help out the level 20's fighting epic battles in their part of the dungeon. Quest completes when the level 20's finish all their objectives.

Every quest would be designed so that when team 1 is finished, they can access an area where they can spectate the level 20's. The majority of the level 20's quest would be a last stand/boss battle arena to support this. Without the low level party's success, the level 20's stand very little chance at surviving.

well, i never said i tought of it for long :P

the point of "distracting" the dragon and runing for their lives might make it kinda boring, but we really dont know everything that happes on the other side of the quest. how many mobs they kill, or how they fight the dragon...

i know there is a part when we see the other party fightthing the dragon, a dragon that is pretty much alive some time after (and by cannon, untill you choose to take her eggs in reavers :P)
make it so that when the dragon is about to die, the mindflyer kinda loses the grip on it, and the dragon retreats ....

maybe when you are doing it on lvls 20, you have a a few timed parts, so the other party dosnt get totaly crushed

doing a raid with toons of diff lvl will have to much perks, but if the devs can pull it off, i would love some mixed content like that (raid and quests alike).
it will make a more integral and inmerse experience, specially for guilds.

Reminds me of a funny quest during the old days of AD&D (from Casus Belli, an old RPG magazine). The DM proposed a team of pre-created characters, level 1, to the players. They received the mission to make a fire on top of a hill. A dragon spots the fire, rushes to them and turn them to ashes. Then the DM asked the players to take their usual character sheets. Their character are contracted by a NPC giving them a mission, which requires to cross a dragon's territory, but hopefully, he prepared a diversion to allow them to pass !
