    Default New Rogue Enhancement

    Did anyone see this one creep through the release notes?

    "Rogues now have access to Wand and Scroll DC and Damage enhancements."

    Went to my trainer and, sure enough, effectiveness from wands and scrolls and increase wand DC enhancements are there. I of course took 1 tier in the effectiveness to increase my self healing potential .

    Anyone else notice? Anyone else care?

    The new scroll line is awesome. I took all four tiers.

    Does that effect duration, or just raw healing/damage?

    its the same as every other class has increases damage/heal of spell from scroll/wand nothing doing on caster level.

    It will work on all wand and scrolls used so it should, though, I am not able to personally verify this.

    Cure minor wand should go from 1-2 to 1-3 if you have 50%+ wand/scroll amp.

    Took the first two tiers on my leveling rogue, can now hit himself with a heal scroll for 209. From memory he has 20% heal amp on DT and 10% enhancement. Didn't have ship buff at the time.

    2 level rogue splashes now also get +30% on heal scrolls as a bonus for 1ap

    One thing that people CONSTANTLY seem to argue about is this wand. Some parties will have people in it who say (and i quote) "that wand is so fail. you should throw it away."

    Look people, it is really easy. The Wand for healing? Useless, gives less then 100 hp on its 50 charges and the recharge isn't enough to fix that. However, it isn't SUPPOSED to heal a barbarian back up to full during an epic raid. I have saved the lives of well over one hundred people throughout the last year alone. How? Because even a barbarian with -2 Umd can still use the wand to hit someone who is bleeding out (umd check 15, with a -2 umd it is still a 15% chance to use and you can fire off one every other second.). With a decent umd, i can flip my bar, click 0, click f?, fire off a single charge, flip my bar back to weapons, and reequip my primary weapon in less then 10 seconds. Even someone with -9 hp can be saved as long as they are not still being attacked. Could i use a better wand? Yes, but most of my chars dont have enough umd to be sure to get off a cure crit in one try, and if i fail 3 times they might be dead before i get number 4. All someone needs is 1 hp to stablize, and when the battle is over i can get them back up above 0 in no time flat.

    I might take another tier to make my incoming wand and scroll heals +45%. This wouldn't sacrifice much and imo, GREATLY improves my gameplay (less time healing = more time killing ). I can't fathom a use for the DC+1 line for offensive wands though... is it worthless like I'm thinking it is?

    Halfling Guile 4 and Cunning 4. That's 8 AP. Also dropped... I forgot. Something not important that I had to take because of the order things had to be taken.

    -2 to Sneak Attack damage is <10 DPS loss, iirc. Completely worth the trade off of 75% better self healing and 75% better tank healing (if needed).

    In epics, the groups I'm in often start off short manned. This usually means no main healer. Being able to use one heal scroll to heal myself instead of two means I have more time to attack. Maybe it balances out? If not, still worth it.

    Someone who gets it. Even my WF wizzie has his, and a regular repair wand, for everything you mentioned.

    Increases the pathetically low DCs to a level where maybe you can use them while favor farming lowbie content.
