Tbh i like it: sure, i still need to get used to it, but it looks cool and seeing others Hp/sp is a great addition. They could add a toggle on/off function though, for those who prefer the old one![]()

My character is so fabulous he would stand in front of a mirror for hours on end. He loves looking at his own face. How full of joy he was when he used the new UI, which shows a real-time camera feed of his face right next to his hp bar! The devs, in their unmandated quest to provide new and better versions of things we already use, gave us a SECOND model of our character's head. They found the perfect place to put it, too, replacing some toggle button nobody ever used.
"I feel pretty,
oh so pretty"
I will be spending all my time in front of the mirror. What else could I do be doing with this new UI![]()

Well the Arti's dog gets a little red bar that's roughly 1/3 to 1/2 the length of the players red bar. It's located at the bottom left of the arti players in party UI. So it starts right about in the middle and continues to the far right side of the graphic.
And I have NO idea why they felt the ned for this... It seem slike they might be trying to prepare for *gasp more of this type of fricken creature... For rangers etc..
I can't wait...
In any case they need to go back to the drawing board.... Do some sight tweaks to the OLD UI....... Unfortunately, their arrogance and hard headed nature when it comes to such things will probably make that inpossible.... Somebody put a bunch of time and thought into the new UI.... Unfortunately.. They were "Barking" up the wrong tree...![]()
I am rather handsome....![]()
At the moment I only play my "healers" when needed (Guild Raids etc.) and have fun with other classes the rest of the time. I think they will do something about it in the next update. Selfhealing toons are more fun at the moment to play because you don't have to look at those tiny bars and numbers until you get a headache and won't die because the main healer didn't see your bar dropped. (Or you didn't get a healer in the first place.) Perhaps you can give a non-healing class a try until things are better?

Hey, i am not /notsigning, thus /signing, yet let's make very clear it is sarcasm :P we do not want any dev to think the new UI might become a succes after all. when i don't want to see my fellow partymembers number i cannot see their HP clearly, so they die. when i do turn it off... i cant see my own numbers either on two freakin different bars. the bars are too small, but in the same time take so much space that i cannot use my old UI layout with shortcut bars on a 19" screen... i see constant name lightups when my cursor goes over any character, which is totally distracting for my ADHD brain... it is a total disaster.
then again, i do think there are some more topics on this matter :P

Installing the new Blackbird skin made a world of difference. I stayed with the default interface since I started, but u11's bars and the lack of developer concern on Lamannia/live made me look for an alternate solution.
I might try that. I wrote off the UI fuss on lama cause I figured that either there was a fix on the way and thus no need to respond, or it was more more noise from the chronic complainers.
But this is bad, and I don't even play my healer much. What exactly was wrong with the old UI that needed "fixing"?

Not only are the bars too small now, like some other threads, the numbers can cause griefing. Another bad change.
This UI change reminds me of the forum change to remove the individual class sections ... a change that wasn't needed, and certainly wasn't wanted by most of the playerbase.
If any other type of business messed with it's customer base this bad - they would be out of business within a few months. What is it with video games that make us put up with stuff like this!?!
