While im not impressed by powering through content with pots and other resources im glad everyone had fun ! if the norm for this raid is pots/consumables>skill and build i wont be stepping foot in it for a long time..if ever.
Also correct me if im wrong ,and i mean no disrespect, but didnt you guys already beat this raid on lamania? Kinda cheapens being "the first" ...congrats either way though...

Try the raid and then come back to tell us that consumables was more important than skill.

You and I have been campaigning for harder content right at the top of the game and this is it man. Just beat it on epic and tell me pots > skill. When you beat it il be shouting gratz because from what I can see any completion of this on epic is the toughest challenge in the game right now.

We just finished our #2 blades on epic. This time it took us 121 minutes and 60 pots. Our DPS was a bit light but we are definitely getting more efficient on the healing.

While i plan on flagging for this this life and maybe sticking at 20 for a bit to get the hang of new content im fairly bored of the game as is and it wont be for a while before i get to the point where im trying this on epic..I hope its as fun as you say it is ..but i still wont be burning through pots to complete.im hoping by the time i get to this point everyone else such as yourself and the crew you roll with will have it down and i wont have to play guinea pig

You guys are the first i didn't meant to make it sound like i was saying you weren't...You guys were the first on lama as well if im correct..What i meant by it cheapens it is that going into a raid with all prior knowledge of the mechanics and beating it before prior to when you beat it "first" to me is not impressive.. Congratulations.
From the perspective of a semi-casual player I am pleased with this new separation of the difficulty levels, even if it means that I may never complete this raid on Epic.
It is refreshing to me that there will always be some type of challenge beyond my abilities in this game. That is what will keep me playing.
It now finally seems that Epic is the correct description for this game's end content.
Also from the perspective of a semi-casual player, it is pretty easy to differentiate between powering through content with pots....and content requiring genuine player skill.
The people giving you flack for this don't seem to, and some of them claim to be far less casual then I.
